Like many of the golf courses in this part of the Borders, Crichton Golf Club is both challenging and entertaining for all levels of player.

Crichton is a wooded parkland nine-hole course that's situated in Dumfries. It is located directly opposite Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, one mile outside of the town on the banked road. The course is laid out on the side of a hill, with many mature trees to give it a lush, green appearance. The apple trees bordering the seventh and eighth fairways add a bit of taste.

From the elevated position of the opening few holes, there are magnificent views of the town and surrounding countryside.
