Founded in 1889 and converted from nine to 18 holes in 1986, Lockerbie Golf Club is parkland layout in an open agricultural setting with delightful views of the surrounding countryside.

The golf course overlooks the picturesque borders town of Lockerbie. The many vantage points on the course offer views over fertile rolling hills toward the Lake district in the south and Dumfries to the west.

Lockerbie is a mostly forgiving golf course while still presenting some stiff challenges to the more adventurous golfer. It features a pond, which is in play on three holes.

Great course

Good friendly staff and members, welcomed on arrival. Would recommend a buggy as quite hilly. Greens were looked after. Would play and recommend again

Lacks direction

Nice relaxing play on the course, greens and course in good condition. More signage would help as not always clear what direction the next tee is, and we were not the only ones who lost their way!

Lockerbie July 21

The course and greens particularly were in good condition although a lot of the fairways were a bit up and down and could do with a few directional markers as some tee boxes were difficult to find
