The Arndean at Muckhart Golf Club
About
The Arndean Course is the most scenic of Muckhart Golf Club's three courses with panoramic views to the south over the Forth Valley and to the Ochils in the north.
Muckhart Golf Club has 27 holes comprising three courses of 18 holes on a rotating basis. The Arndean nine measures 2,821 yards from the back tees. Par is 35.
Arndean's signature holes are No. 5 and 6. The fifth hole, aptly named "Top of the World," is a par 4, which has no bunkers but presents a stiff test into the prevailing wind. No. 6 is a beautiful long par-3 hole, named after "The Lonesome Pine," which guards the left of the green.

First time visitor greeted by a friendly welcome at the pro shop. Lovely scenery and not too challenging. Will be back.
Great course
Course and staff really good
Layout brilliant
Greens amazing
Only thing is the yardage was incorrect on the Scottish golf app
Would recommend this sanctuary
Gem in Scotland
From start to finish this is a little Gem of a course and great test for an average to single figure player.
Scenery is spectacular and the staff from Pro Steve to Head Chef Stuart and his wife Julie makes this venue stand out from the rest ideally priced and a warm welcome awaits any visiting group or individual.
Delighted with the golf course
Played 2 of the three 9-hole courses and both were in great shape. Very challenging around the greens with plenty of bunkers, slopes and borrows. Pro-shop was very helpful pre-round and clubhouse staff friendly. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our day.
Great experience
Played Muckhart as a visitor from the midlands and it didn’t disappoint.
Booked it through GolfNow and got a good deal on the green fee, costing just £20 to play.
The course was unusual as it was 3 lots of 9 hole courses, but it’s a brilliant idea as you play the front 9, then play another 9 on a different course which is a very different experience.
The conditions when I played were challenging however it didn’t take away from the quality of the course.
The views from most of the holes were incredible, and there were some that made the experience even better value for money.
Staff in the pro shop were very welcoming and informative and overall a good golf club - would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to play.
Wide fairways
Course in excellent condition, rough very challenging but the fairways are wide and accommodating. Greens running well. Staff both in the shop and the clubhouse welcoming.
Lovely courses in a beautiful setting absolute bargain and would highly reccomend
I particularly like the concept of three 9-hole courses, which means that you don't know in advance which you will be playing.
Lovely views
Everything apart from the condition of and around the greens was fine. I think the fee was too high for the poor quality of the greens which were very poor in the first nine and although better on the second nine they were also very slow
