Outstanding test - needs investment.

Whoever wrote this previous 'review' has obviously never played this fine James Braid design. Far from 'flat', Littlehill is a strong test of your golfing abilities. If you can get yourself around this fine layout in reasonable numbers, you're playing better than 'good' golf...

Littlehill golf course

I have played littlehill many times as a young boy and hadn’t been back for years yes there has been a huge change in the course over the years but for the course being closed for a long time the staff have done a great job with the limited resources they have to get the course looking the way it was really enjoyed playing the course. The course was great value for the money I would recommend anyone to go and play it

Fantastic Littlehill Course

Absolutely amazing value for money. We paid £6.99 for an 10.50am tee off time. The course was in fantastic condition a real challenge to play. Enjoyed every minute of our round.

Tees are not numbered and no directions through holes which isn’t great if this is your first time playing the course also a golfers on course very abrupt. You get what you pay for with the course as it doesn’t seem anyone maintains it.

Autumn in the city

Long straight course, still in tip top condition for council run course. Nice dry day for a round, just the usual seasonal obstruction, greens playing very well. Slight lack of distance markers and if you don't know the course it's not well signed for directions. Overall still a course that suits most abilities and variation of landscape for a good round.

Holes aren’t marked well but regular users keep your right

Fairways are bumpy but not unplayable just tough to walk on especially when pushing a trolley, very big greens which were quicker than expected. Overall great public course

As cheap as it gets

Having not played here for 20yrs I was pleasantly surprised it was decent condition for the time of year. Yes bit wet n muddy and the greens weren't great, but for £7 on a Sunday morning it worthwhile. And not that easy over 6000 yards

Great course 🏌‍♂️🏌‍♂️🏌‍♂️🏌‍♂️

We had a great day at the course. The only thing we found wrong was the tee boxes not being numbered. As it was our first time we got mixed up twice as some of the holes are right next to each other in different directions. Lovely course with some great holes to play. Would definitely go back.
