A fun track

Have to admit, anytime you have to drive past the Old Course to play golf somewhere else, you're always going to feel disappointed. But this place was sneaky good. For starters, it was in great shape despite that dry conditions in Scotland all summer. The pace of pay was great and the holes were strong. It was a bit of a difficult walk for Americans that don't often walk - long walks between holes and from the 18th green to the clubhouse. But that's nitpicking. A day in St. Andrews with great weather can never be a bad thing.

Fantastic layout and scenery overlooking the Auld Toon

Can't say enough about this course One of my all time favourites. May not have the history of the nearby more famous links but at under £40 on a glorious June day fantastic value for money. Great greens Plays like a links course even tho on cliff face.

Great variation of holes

Great fun on an interesting course Our only moan would be the carry required from the ladies 12th tee. Out of keeping with the rest of the course Great range of par threes Well worth the £41 through golf now

Stunning views

5 star golf, from the welcome reception to the 19th hole. This is one of the very best courses in St Andrews, a real test of golf requiring every club in your bag, magnificent greens and outstanding views over St Andrews Bay. Tee off times got me a great deal on the green fee, superb value for money!

A Perfect Day at Kittocks

I have lived half my life in Scotland before moving overseas so coming back to Scotland to play Fairmont Kittocks I was very surprised at the perfect weather conditions - sunny, blue skies, no wind. I had played the Torrance course a few years earlier and was very impressed so was keen to try Kittocks. The course was wonderful with some stunning views and challenging hole layouts. On a Monday afternoon it was quiet on the course so we had no holdups at all. The course conditions were very good and the greens were in good shape. It really was a perfect day out with the incredible weather conditions, a great course and a very comfortable clubhouse with friendly staff.
