Prestonfield Golf Club
The Prestonfield Golf Club sits in the Scottish capital of Edinburgh, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe's top golfing destinations. James Braid, one of golf's best known-designers, laid out the golf course, which challenges players to hit the par of 70 while traversing its 6,207 yards. The course includes two oversize par-5s, compensated for by a batch of par-3 that come up short by modern measurements.
Then there's all the stuff in the middle: The heart of the course is its par-4s, which provide both distance and challenge, depending both on players' strength and which way the wind blows. A round of golf at the Prestonfield Golf Club kicks off on Cragend, a 291-yard par 4 that makes for an excellent way to open a game, with its slight dogleg right. Watch out for the parking lot on the right.
After the round, head to the Prestonfield Golf Club's clubhouse for coffee, cocktails and a daily lunch menu.

The most beautiful and in best conditions course I've ever played. Such a nice golf course. All 18 holes are nice to play, long fairways, excellent greens and a wonderful layout of this course.
Go and play, that's all what I can say!
I'll definitely come back to play!
