Classic course, a pleasure to play
Love the opportunity to play a private CC. Friendly staff, good conditions and tasty food. I will be back.
Great Course
If you naturally hit a RH fade, you will love this course. About 80% of the holes require either a long iron down the fairway or a fade with a driver or 3-wood. Pace was surprisingly quick (3 hours) after being held up the first 3 holes. Nice and quiet course, somewhat flat tee boxes, decently lush fairways and amazing greens (soft and quick). If it were only closer to where I travel to frequently I would play here often.
Hidden Gem
Our group plays courses weekly everywhere on the Central Coast and we collectively agree The Village Country Club is one of our favorites!
Nice track and great layout. Faiways and greens were great!
Always great playing at the Village CC! Facility is great and staff is friendly. Nice to play a course that is in good shape with all the water restrictions. Greens had lots of grass on them and held shots. Look forward to returning soon!
Recommend it.
Greens in great condition. Staff is very nice Excellent over all
Great course
I recamen it to every one nice greens grat faraways an grat weather ...
Caos
Out of control golf course. Not worth playing.
Needs better managment.
Vandenberg village country club
We showed up and they were very surprised to see non members there? We were very uncomfortable and almost left. They did not have us on there records to be playing there. It was supposed to be a blackout date due to a member/club tourneyment? They did end up accommodating us by letting us play in between there tourneyment. But it was very awkward and we did not feel comfortable at first. We showed up 45 minutes early and we're not allowed to hit balls or warm up. The round did end up to be a very enjoyable. We were the only non members on the course and we're not pressured at any point during the round! The course was very fun to play & great condition.
always a good time
The Village CC course is always in good shape. The scenery is beautiful and the houses adjacent to the course are not obtrusive. I prefer the back 9 which has more interesting holes. The 400 yard 12th dogleg right requires 2 excellent shots to be on in 2. 2 big hits
on the par 5 14th can leave you with an eagle putt on an undulating green. The wind usually comes up in the afternoon so a morning tee time is recommended.
