Drumpellier Golf Club
About
Located just east of Glasgow, Drumpellier Golf Club sits at the west end of Coatbridge. Since opening in 1894, it has become one of the area's most treasured courses. The layout is challenging but it's still player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. The golf course's has a memorable finish, ending on two of its best holes. The par-4 17th is just 270 yards, giving big hitters the opportunity for a grand finish by reaching the green from the tee. Those who don't want to take the risk can play it safe and aim for the fairway. Drumpellier Golf Club's final hole, another par 4, tumbles downhill across slopes ranging from subtle to dramatic. Be careful of running out of the fairway or you'll face an even tougher approach to the well bunkered green.

Lovely Course
I played on a sunny Sunday morning and the course was in brilliant condition. There are a good variety of holes with some you can open the shoulders and lash a drive and others where you have to think your way round and lay up. Well placed bunkers and plenty of sand in them (I was in 5!). Greens rolled fast & true. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable mornings golf.
Drumpelier Golf
Excellent Golf course in great condition and great value
Would definitely recommend
Drumpellier golf club
Great course, excellent condition and probably the toughest greens I've played, quick and fairly hard to read but a great challenge for anyone interested
Most enjoyable
Had a poor round today. Course was in great condition and weather held out well for us. Lush fairways and probably the best putting surfaces I have played on this year. Only gripe is we got lost after hole 17. No markers telling you where 18th tee was situated. Eventually found it after good 10 minutes. A brilliant course which really tested me to the max. Well done to all ground staff. Will be back soon.
Excellent
Course in great condition, members and Pro friendly and waved through by locals. Would highly recommend.
Nice variety of holes
Nice lay out with variety of holes, not the best drainage so after heavy rain some holes were sodden
Amazing
This is the best course I have ever played.the greens are out of this world and fast and slopy.
I wish I was a member there.
If you are in the area you must play this place.
Really good condition
Greens in excellent condition for this time of year,Nice course with good mixture of short and long par 4s
Morning round
Enjoyed a nice round in the morning. Pro shop was well equipped, allowed me to head off in my own time. The club was undergoing vertu-draining of the greens, 3 greens on temporary greens. To be expected this time of year.
Nice pace of play, a couple of seniors let me through which was nice. Overall a nice course for this time of year
Drumpellier Golf Course
Great Golf Course very well presented. Great Parkland course.
Gem of a course
Excellent course, condition of some green's were poor but overall the course is well maintained. A good challenge of golf for all abilities and interesting variety of holes. Was a pleasure to play and course staff were excellent.
Great Round
It was an overcast day in Oct and the course was never going to be at its best however for October the course was in good condition with the greens still playing true. The bacon roll before and the roll after were great and the round very enjoyable. We all agreed we would play it again
Very wet
Pro shop was closed so couldn't get into the changing rooms.
Winter bargain
Played mid February and the course condition was great, even able to play of the fairway without mats. Greens were sanded in readiness for the season start so not so good but for £12 each, no complaints. Easy course to find your way around, mostly flat.
Pretty course well maintained
Great experience with very friendly staff on arrival and for lunch after our game. The course was in great condition for the time of year and the greens surprisingly fast. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.
1st class golf course
I played drumpellier golf club for the 1st time this week. I booked it through golf now and got a special price of £15 per person. The 1st thing I noticed after the 1st hole was the greens were in amazing condition for any time of the year never mind mid October. It was the the way the full course was to my delight.
Can't speak highly enough of this course and I was so pleased with my experience here that I have decided that I,along with my brother will be joining as of the start of next season in April.
Hope this helps
