Members

Phones in advance to play this course got told over phone there are no winter restrictions. Showed up were told we couldn’t tee off from the tee box from some arrogant member who then followed us reving his golf buggie engine when we were trying to tee off. The member resembled magnum PI and it was very clear they did not want visitors on the course. The guy in pro shop was understanding of this and he did refund our money. Would not play here again for the simple fact of that one member.

Hidden Gem

Having played holiday golf in the area for the last 15 years this course must have fallen off my radar.
A great welcome from Sid in the Pro shop who took time out to talk us round the course. Whilst not overly long the greens and some of the par 3s made me struggle to my 12 handicap although my wife returned a great score. A thoroughly enjoyable day and we took 3 hours to play the 18 holes.
Great views and the weather made the day all the more enjoyable. A very enjoyable snack and drink in the clubhouse served by friendly staff at great prices.
All in all a very enjoyable day and we will be back to enjoy the hospitality and the course.

Enjoyable Day

Disappointed that tee time was in between a seniors match and seniors medal
Despite this enjoyed the day

Beautiful Upland

A lovely, bright but somewhat breezy afternoon. Two of us had a great time coming to grips with an amazing, rolling, open, challenging high-up course of old-style design. Blind shots and crossovers do have some effect, but they are 'softened' by the excellent conditions.

Cracking Sunday Round

Went round in a fourball of mid to high handicappers.
Course was dead quiet for a sunday which was nice as we didn't feel under pressure to let anyone through.
Greens were in great nick and course was testing especially if you werent in control of the driver and finding the deep rough regularly. For £20 each great value.
