Balmore

Course looked great and we were looking forward to it but the frost killed any great enjoyment. Not the clubs fault.Winter greens are never great.hope to go back there in better weather with full greens available.

Thick Fog

On arrival course covered in thick mist unable to see the ball from the tees but managed not to lose a ball despite that. After 9 holes mist lifted and could finally see the course seemed very nice. Play was held up by two threesomes ahead playing quite slow ended up joining the twosome in front of me because we were waiting all the time. Turned out well the two members were really nice guys and enjoyed playing with them. They had been members for 20 odd years. All in all first 9 holes difficult couldn’t see a thing second nine nice course would play again. Only downside is the road leading into the course its very narrow with few passing places.

Great wee course

Although it was a wet morning when we turned up to play the course was in great shape. Balmore is a great wee track with some challenging holes.
I have played here quite a few time and fort £15 you can’t go wrong. It’s only 15 mins from Glasgow and I would recommend Balmore for a great day of golf

Lovely Golf Course.

Terrific golf course, some fantastic holes, and most enjoyable scenery. Very friendly staff and a big shout out to the pro Dougie who could not have been more helpful. Decent food on offer also.

Fantastic course

From the pro in the shop to the member on the course, I had a great day. So friendly and helpful. Caught up with a member playing and was invited to join their group. Really nice group and was a pleasure to go round with them. Will definitely be back and recommend this course.

Lovely wee coutse

Spent a great morning at Balmore golf club. I’d been years ago and it’s as lovely now as I remember. Course is in great condition for the time of year. Unfortunately the Scottish weather meant winter greens were on but that’s no one’s fault.
Pro shop attentive and helpful and overall great value.
Will be back in the summer.
