Sunday pleasure

Very friendly and helpful welcome by staff. Great uninterrupted play on a course that was expected to be heavy ground that proved to be very playable with well placed tees and maintained greens. Altogether a great Sunday outing.

Can't fault it.

Wonderful course. Excellent layout. Great facilities. Very welcoming. Was a wee bit slow but i think it was usual case of members looking down on the teeofftimes.com customer, so was blatantly refused a wave through for the full round. Wouldn't judge the course on the actions of a couple of blinkered members. Will definitely play again.

Great course, strange booking

Turned up for a 8am tee off, no staff around and a medal taking place, the members were very helpful and told me where I could get a card and advised me to start on the 10th, which was not a problem, but I could not even rent a cart/ buy water as shop shut. This is the second time this has happened via this app, courses should not take bookings if no staff are around at that time, and especially if a medal on. The course was great, best I've played in the region, greens were superb and you can see that it's very well maintained, just a shame it was slightly spoiled by my arrival, I'm not sure who is at fault, club or app, but it needs sorted out.

Good condition for time of year but ruined by members

I have played the course a number of times and was a bit worried that recent whether would have made the course a bit wet. However, no complaints about condition of the course. Probably in line with expectation due to weather we have had over the winter. Enjoyed the course but ruined by a 4 ball which was holding up the whole course from the 4th. Consistently having to wait, nobody in front of them. It surely must have been off putting looking back on every green to see a two ball waiting on the fairway and a two ball waiting on the tee. Several easy occasions to let us through. I would recommend course but don’t expect to get ahead of a 4 ball of members! 4 hour round for a 2 ball with no body on the course.

Might be a nice course when dry.

Greens were in excellent condition, but the rest of the course was very soggy.
Would like to try it in when it dries out.

Little Challenge

Good course and good value for money. I would certainly play it again. The contition was wet under foot and the greens a little rough. Although I would put this down to the weather we have had over the last few months in Scotland and the season not started yet.

Overall great course, one in which I would play again.

Great course

Rained from about the 2nd to the 15th but still had a great day.
Very flat and easy on the legs.
Tree lined fairways so you need to be driving well to score low.
Massive bunkers dotted about the fairways also which make for an interesting round.
Will definitely be back to play again

Nice course but waterlogged after days of heavy rain

This is a lovely course with lots of mature trees and well tended grass - well worth a visit. Unfortunately the day I played followed several days of heavy rain so there was a lot of standing water to contend with. Locals are friendly.

Nice course but needs rain

Friendly atmosphere and nice course, just in desperate need of rain. All fairways are really hard and ball keeps running, greens also hard, fast and ball doesn't grip at all.

Lovely course

Quiet on a Friday morning, cracking course with helpful staff. Tricky course with well placed hazards. Despite apologies from the grounds staff the course was in great condition, told that it'll only get better over the summer.

Well worth a play.

Renfrew visit

Enjoyed our round at Renfrew, great layout and some great holes and views at the edge of the Clyde. Fantastic value for money and drainage was good even though weather hadn't been great of late. I think you were meant to take a rake before you tee off so probably left a couple of sandy messes in the bunkers - sorry. Was in a rush so didn't use clubhouse but looked ok! Round in 3hrs 30. Would like to go back.

Renfrew course

Very friendly staff, Excellent course, very good mixture of long par 5s to short 3s, excellent valve for money when booked last minute through Tea of times. Only downside is some of the bunkers require filling with sand.
