Dalmuir
A little gem in the heart of Scotland. For a Municipal course it was in perfect condition and plenty of greenkeepers. Couple of quirky holes included a blind par 3. Will definitely be back again
Best municipal course around (but the bunkers let it down)
Course is playing well. Greens are in great condition. My only gripe is the poor condition of most of the bunkers. I took 4 to get out of the greenside bunker at the 4th. Other than that, lovely round of golf in the sun
Much better condition
Course is in much better condition to when I played it a few years ago, will be back again soon to play it.
The course has tough back 9
Got this course on a bad day! Would like to say I would go back on a more pleasing day but from the 13th onwards had me all over the place.
Great course apart from ....
Dalmuir is a great course and value for money...only issue we had and seems to be a regular issue is the non payers who jump on at the 2nd tee and hold you up . Nobody is checking who is on the course and the extra people make it congested and holds you up when all you want to do is play. Saying that its still a great course and well worth playing....its very hilly so take a trolley and some water as you will.need it.
Course was great
Only been into golf a month and was my first time going to a golf course and it was a great first time I loved it! Except the last few hills
Still recovering from winter
Still a great municipal course but not up to summer standards yet. First green was like putting on the beach. 17th green was scored too much. Other than that, still an enjoyable round
Hill monster
Nice course, hioles laid out fairly well, greens where very sandy. Front 9 is a decent walk, the back 6, not for the faint hearted or un fit, hills are steep. A good morning all round.
Shambles
Got to the 3rd tee and teed off went to hit my second shot when 2 dogs ( staffed) ran up and 1 grabbed my ball, neds up in the trees with about 6 staffing, got tho the 15th and the fire brigade were there to put out a fire the neds started in the trees, so not worth £15 of anyone's money
Not for the unfit. At least 3 big climbs. Very interesting layout. Greens OK for time of year.
Great course
Like playing here always in good nick could have a bell at certain holes to let golfers know when your off the green would help .
