Lochore Meadows Golf Course
About
If you enjoy golf but also enjoy fishing and nature, than Lochore Meadows Golf Course, located 100 percent within the confines of Lochore Meadows Country Park, is for you. The park has views across Loch Ore and wooded hills, and it provides a tranquil setting for a relaxing game. The park also boasts water sports, walks, fishing and a nature reserve.
Lochmore Meadows Golf Course itself is nine holes surrounded by maturing trees. The fairways also offer glimpses of the Mary Pit Head and Benarty Hill. And a stream flows through the course on occasions, providing both a hazard and a taste of the wild.
The golf course plays short and long, with little in between. No. 1 is a 335-yard par 4, No. 2 is a 158-yard par 3 and three is a whopping 529-yard par 5. This back and forth is spread throughout, with only one real reprieve, the mid-range, 267-yard par 4 at No. 4.
Lochore Meadows Golf Course also offers food at Café at Park Centre, with snacks and light meals from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the summer and 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. in the winter.

Fantastic
It’s the second time I’ve played this course and it was even better than I remembered. It’s only a 9 hole so we went round twice. It’s a real challenge and very long. The fairways are in great condition and the greens receptive and run true.
Hidden gem
This course is full of trees, that’s not a bad thing, this makes me play better. I just wish the course was extended to a full 18 holes!! The views of Benarty hill are phenomenal. Great little 9 hole course, well worth the £9 for 18 holes

This it’s a great place to play really good condition and good for started off or even good for the pros
Pleasant 9 holes
First time at Lochore and really enjoyed it. Nice wide fairways and inviting layout was appealing to both my friend who is a beginner and myself who has played for years. Got round the course very quickly and would definitely play again.
Great day out
The meadows golf course is great value for monye if you looking for a great dayout go their and have fun
Good as usual
1st time playing course this year. Like the subtle changes to it i.e. fairway bunker on 3rd smaller. As usual a good and well kept 9 holer.
Enjoyable course great value for money
This is a decent nine-hole course with several short par fours but a couple of good length par 5 holes. It's not too easy to get to but the location is very pretty and it's right next door to the country park so could be part of a family day out. I've taken off a star due to the quality of the greens (slow, uneven and patchy) but it's great value for money. The bunkers were quite decent too. It's easy to walk the course and if you're short on time you can just pay for nine holes instead of eighteen. Clubhouse is really more of a starters cabin, and there is no practice area apart from a hitting net for warming up. I think I saw a putting green further up the road by the third tee but not sure. Overall, we were pretty happy with our afternoon at Lochore Meadows, and would very happily play it again.
A fun nine holer
This course is in the village I grew up in as a boy and I had not played it for decades. It is a fun course and really well maintained by the council. The setting in the country park is very pleasant too. The starter was very friendly and was expecting us, greeted me by name and let us go out early. The fairways are wide and forgiving and compared to the tighter course I normally play I was able to return what for me was a good looking card.
Great for 9 holes
Greens have just been cored and sanded, so putting was not the best. Would recommend the course.
