Great course in fantastic condition for the time of year

Really enjoyed this round.

First time playing the course and the weather was brilliant but it is a tricky set up with lots of up/down hills. Great views from the top of the hill (which you climb to a good view times).

Course was in brilliant condition for the time of year and I was yet to play a round this year anywhere with even half decent greens, it was great and breathed a bit of light into my game playing somewhere good!

Will be back!

Scenic course with friendly staff

It's tricky to navigate to the course but once there it's a great atmosphere, very friendly. Was met by the vice captain who gave me a few pointers for approaching the first tee. Really beautiful views over Glasgow in a lovely Moorland setting. Shortish course with some challenging blind tee shots. Highly recommend a visit.

Course was very wet, doesn't look like it drains well at all. Has some great holes on it. Not the toughest challenge but decent course.

Wet weather
Walked

First time playing

- overall course was in good condition considering the yellow warnings for rain in the previous days.
- couple of holes had winter greens.
- one of the holes was no longer in use (but not sign posted).
- the two in front of our group were quite slow.

Overall, really enjoyed the course though and will definitely play again - hopefully when the weather's better.

Hidden Gem

What a pleasant surprise, hidden down a country lane. Not the longest course you’ll ever play but testing none the less. The course was in fantastic condition and the greens were still fast and true for so late in the year. Stunning vistas wherever you look, if you get a chance you must play this course.

Surprise

After a warm welcome we found the course in good condition even after all the recent rain. We had read several reviews and would agree it is a good layout peaceful and with great views but no one mentioned how hilly the course is. Every hole is up or downhill or both. If you have any bother with your knees or hips I would give it a miss however there were a couple of buggy’s at the clubhouse so you may still enjoy what was a lovely course.
