Clifton Hollow Golf Club
About
The Clifton Hollow golf course first opened in 1974 with just nine holes. The second nine was added in 1987 and since then it has become a cornerstone for western Wisconsin and Twin Cities golfers. The tough golf course has a mix of subtle and overt challenges. The seemingly gentle fifth hole is the course's signature. This par 3 plays from a slightly elevated tee to a sloped, undulating green that is surrounded by mature oak trees on either side. The final hole is also a par 3 but it has earned the title of being the "Monster of Clifton." It's a lengthy one at 637 yards, featuring the longest fairway and largest green on the golf course. With plenty of room for different pin placements, your putting skills will be put to the test.

Good value, not too hard
C.H. is a great value for the mid to high handicapper who doesn't want to pay a lot to play but still wants a course in good condition & fun to play. It is also walkable (exception being par 3 by club house requires a major uphill then downhill hike). Staff is friendly & usually have cart service. Course is not overly long. Play from back tees if you are a single digit handicap.
Great course
Have played here several times. A bit of a drive for me, but the course is always in nice shape.
Perfect day for golf
My wife and I took advantage of a great deal from GOLFNOW and the weather could not have been any better. Even with all the recent rain, the course was in excellent condition. My wife especially appreciated the much shorter length of the course from the red tees. We will be back!
Enjoyable
Not a particularly challenging course but it was in fair shape. Good place if you want to get out and hit the ball.
NiceCourse within 45 minuets from the twin cities
Solid, mature course with a solid design and quality up keep. Overall this course is in good shape from the tee boxes to the fairways and greens. The cart path was beat up a bit in areas, other than that really no complaints at all.
Golf
good course over all the fairways had seen better days it was very nicely designed and the staff was awesome
Great Value
This course has played well all year. I think it's a sleeper of a course with several drive able par 4's and interesting par 3's. For the dollar a great value for Twin Cites players.
good features
This course is good, but too much small black flies and need chemicals to kill.
Interesting little track..nice greens. Many doglegs to intice the wreckless to cut corners. Play the fairways and it is much better. Smallish greens
Course was in excellent shape. 96 degrees and firm as heck still great fun for the $$$
lots of elevation change
This course was a pleasant surprise. A bit more challenging and strategic than I expected and much more interesting. Course knowledge would definitely help but not a must. Greens were in great shape although the day we played almost every pin was in the absolute toughest position possible, a couple were completely unfair. Great elevated view of 3 holes from the clubhouse screened porch. Friendly staff and an overall good time. Recommend you check it out.
Great value
I had not played this course in 10 years it had really matured and was in good shape
