Not too shabby
First time playing here. Long beach courses are pretty consistent among each course. Prefer playing the Long Beach courses over other municipal/city courses around it. Slightly more expensive, but worth the money. Hopefully GolfNow figure out how to open up more tee times and NOT let these brokers hog it and sell it for profit. Making players like me wonder why we have to pay $20 to $40 more sometimes to use a broker to play these courses.
Concrete sand traps an issue
Guys, you have a great course. Greens, fairways and tee boxes are sweet.
What is going on with the traps? Concrete packed. No sand. They feel like an empty swimming pool where a skate board could be ridden. Impossible to get out of at times. Fear of blading the ball 50 yards past the pin.
Can you till or spade at least the green side bunkers? Yes, I was in a lot of traps, which I don’t mind. But you have to be able to do more than “pick” every time. I’m sure you have had to hear this before. It needs attention.
Top golf course!
Every shot I had to take on the Skylinks golf course was a challenge for my golf game there.
Skylinks
Fairways need water very hard ball runs for a while
Greens and fairways in excellent condition
Good course. Greens and fairways in excellent condition. Only Bad thing is the bunkers. Hard As concrete and almost no sand in bunkers. Makes it easy to hit when you are in fairway bunker but around the greens it was pretty difficult to get any sand between the ball and club.
