Excellent
If missed golf courses in Palm Spring, you should play this course, only 1 hour driving distance from LA.
As a reviewer mentioned before, the green is soft but FAST.
Beside some of fairways are needed final touch, the condition was very good compared to the price.
Keep a ball in fairway, otherwise you are in trouble.
Hidden Gem!!!!
This was my first time playing here but after reading some reviews, I decided to take a shot when I got there. It was absolutely amazing. The course layout is very fun challenging. You actually have to think about your shots. Course condition was a maculate. I have never played in a municipal course or public course that has better green than here. Super friendly staff and the value it was incredible. This might be the best public course in California.
A great desert links style layout that is maintained very well. It feels more like a country club out in PGA West. Very fast greens provides a challenging yet rewarding play. The grass driving range is one of great amenities the course provides. And for $60 I don’t think you get more bang for your buck
Surprisingly nice
This is a little gem in the Antelope Valley. The layout will keep you on your toes with a good mixture of grip it and rip it and target golf. The greens were what surprised me most. In the middle of the desert, they were soft on the approach but quick and true when putting.
There were a few water stations that were empty which is a problem when it is 100 degrees in the desert, but apart from that a surprisingly enjoyable round.
All Around Fun course
I play this course often sometimes 3 times a week although I do not get bored of the layout, the greens leaves something to be desired. The Poa Anna is taking over and it seems this staff has not been trained to deal with it. It's over watered and that makes the greens soft and bumpy
Good public
Very good condition. Not an up and back course with holes going up, down and cross wind. Many elevation changes.
The price was excellent!
Great price and excellent weather. This was definitely worth the price.
THE GREENS NEED HELP
GREAT LAY OUT VERY CHALLENGE N COURSE FAIR WAYS WHERE IN GOOD CONDITION GREENS NEEDED SOME ATTENTION OVER ALL HAD A GREAT ROUND
Great desert gem
Excellent greens. Challenging distances. Wide, well kept fairways. Doesn't feel like desert course, more of a Midwest feel. Definitely would play again if in the area.
Really good twilight prices, but you must then contend with the relentless desert winds falling down the nearby hills.
Well maintained for a public course.
I always enjoy this course. It is well maintained for a public course. Many of the holes have water hazards and the bunkers on each green are fairly deep with good sand. Saturday pace of play was surprisingly quick.
This course is fun to play!
The course is well maintained and the holes are very forgiving for all players. You still have to hit quality shots to score well, but your bad shots will not be penalized too much. Not your typical desert course even though this course is located in the mojave desert. Very fun for all abilities! I played with my parents (both over 60) and had a great tiime.
