SummerGrove Golf Club

This is a fun course to play. Everything you want for a good afternoon or morning round. We look forward to plying here again soon.

1. Raise the cup so the ball doesn't go all the way to the bottom. Check what Crystal Lake does as an example
2. Maintain one person per cart without an extra cart fee. ACOVID-19 is not over
3. Ask staff and golfers to wear face coverings while in the pro shop for the safety of all.

This is a great course with a nice layout; mostly flat with lots of shade tree. I drove 50 min to play here and would do it again.

We had noon T times. When we checked in with the attendant with a minimal level of people skills, handed us the score card, but no cart key. When we informed him we had booked with a cart, he said his computer showed "walking only" and that he had no carts because the Covid rules.. We showed him our email reservation and he then said we would have to look up the Golf Now booking. He further said that carts were reserved for customers who had pre-paid for a cart. When we asked him for a rain check, he said, it would be up to Golf Now. So, we did not get to play.Not returning to Summer Grove. First time for this unpleasant experience.

We had a noon T time. When we arrived to check in there was another gentleman ahead of us checking in. The attendant informed the gentleman that his reservation was for noon, walking only. He seemed very surprised and then he stepped to the side. When he checked me in, he informed me likewise, walking only.. I was surprised and upset He further said that after noon, it was walking only if it is not prepaid. We both mentioned that our email confirmation did not display, "walking only" and showed him the phone email. He then informed us that due to the Covid policy, only clients that prepaid for the cart, get a cart. We would have to wait until two hours later for carts to be available. We asked him for a rain check and he informed us we would have to claim the rain check through Golf now. We both told him that his handling of our situation was wrong and we would not be coming back. We did not play the course.

Surprisingly not CPO after 4" rain two days prior but course was in decent shape. Many areas, including tee boxes, course had been punched, making teeing off somewhat difficult . Greens recently punched also and recovering nicely. Pace was excellent, at a little over 3 hours. The changes to single riders has quickened each round and would be appreciated from here on, but not practical except for private venues. Would recommend once course recovers from spring work.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating on a day that brought severe weather conditions prior to our tee time. During normal times we probably would not have even attempted to play but with the Coronavirus world we are living in this was the first day we have been out of the house for 3 weeks. We appreciate your hospitality and will definitely be back frequently!

You can't beat the price this time of the year. I would play this again and again

Date day with the wife. Had a great time. Course was in great shape. Will definitely play it again

Summergrove is a great place to play golf. I always have a great time on the course. The place is always well taken care of and plays challenging.

Staff is very accommodating and friendly.
Well kept some tough beautiful fairways and greens.
2 or 3 muddy fairways due to overnight thunderstorms.
I love this place.
