SummerGrove Golf Club

Very nice course, made you work on some holes more than others, but overall challenging & fun .

I played Summer Grove for the first time on 7/13 on a GolfNow deal as a single and had a wonderful golfing experience. The pro shop staff were very friendly and said I could tee off when I was ready. The course was in immaculate condition and there were no groups ahead of me or behind me, resulting in a stress-free round of golf. The greens were a moderate speed and well conditioned. The fairways and rough was freshly cut and the bunkers were well maintained. I’ll definitely be back!

The course was in great shape considering the amount of rain that fell that night. I was pleased with the pace of play. Very nice course with great carts.

Course has always been in good to excellent condition when I played it. There were a few areas where the grass hadn't quite grown back in yet, but that will change soon, not their fault. It's generally a fair course that doesn't have any really "gimmicky" holes as some courses do. I am an 8 handicapper in my mid 50's and even from the blue tees there are still 4 or 5 very tough holes, but the course is very playable for all skill levels, even from the tips for the longer hitters. The greens here have always been nice and roll quite well, pretty speedy, but not unfair. For the money you won't find a better value that I know of anywhere in town. Staff has always been courteous, I play here about 3 or 4 times a month. I will definitely be back soon.

As a resident of the East Side of Metro ALT, I usually play on the East Side. However, as I had to pick up a relative from the Airport on Saturday, I decided to play on that side of town. After looking at some ratings and reviews, I decided to try Summer Grove. I was NOT disappointed! It was a beautiful, hot, busy day at the course but the busy staff was attentive and professional. The practice range was about average. The course was well laid out with the fairways and greens in excellent shape. Out on the course, the nice lady on the refreshment cart came by at least 4 times. I would certainly recommend this course as one to add into the rotation. The only, and I mean ONLY negative is that long drive; but aside from that...everything was awesome!

Played May 9th.
Played it for the first time and after a lengthy layoff for health reasons. Love the layout. Very Challenging. Greens are challenging as well. Fairways need to fill in a little more, but its early yet. Bunkers looked pretty good, but I was only in one towards the end. Definitely a course you have to learn and play multiple times to get a feel for where the trouble lies. A couple of drives I thought were great ended up running out and through the fairway. The slope kept me from seeing the trouble. Definitely will return. Very attractive twilight rates.

This course was nice, but two things frustrated me. We were on the 8th hole when the skies opened up with lightening and rain. Normally I’d expect a course to signal about lightening but this one didn’t. When we phoned the clubhouse we were told they don’t notify golfers of these unsafe conditions. That was surprising. Later when we got off after the 18th there was no one st the cart return to help with clubs and return. The bar was great. The food so so.

Being first out of the box led to great pace of play. Course design is good and while it’s still early in the season, course was in good condition - greens a bit bumpy due to recent punching. Some conditions off the fairway is a bit rough but nothing major.

Good course and conditions should grow in over the next weeks.

Summergrove is a great course ; due to the great weather the play was slow due to the booked Tee Times.

Only complaint I could possibly have is they let a walking 5 some out ahead of my 2 some. Great course though and challenging approaches. Will be back!

Best feature was the greens. My father played the round with me. He said the course was well maintained. The greens are in excellent condition. Look forward to playing here again.

First time playing this course and even though there was still snow on the ground in spots. I can tell when this course is in the heart of the golf season that's probably a pretty awesome place to play. The fairways are pretty generous and the greens are a decent size. There is quite a bit of undulation in the greens which makes me think you have to play it quite a few times to get the hang of the subtle brakes. I'll play this course again in the spring when everything turns back green. I imagine it will be a really good time.

This is a very nice course. They keep the Greens is good condition. The Fair ways are good except the little standing water.

The course was in great shape. The only problem we had was with the pace of play, because there were too many twosomes and a few singles that kept interrupting our play by letting them play through. There should have been a Marshall present to pair up the twosomes for better pace of play.
