Great Conditions Tough Layout
First five holes and hole 10 have plenty of water, if you can survive these holes one can score well. I was surprised with the rolling terrain and the modern undulating greens. Course conditions were perfect. Must play for all golfers.
Challenging but fun
Wanted to give up after the 4th hole 🤦🏾♂️, but kept going. The slopes and bad lies can bring you to your knees, but the challenge of hitting them straight was intriguing. Considering its reputation, I only lost about 5 or 6 balls...which ain't bad for a novice golfer. Still was able to par and hit for par a few times. Beautiful layout which I'm sure gets even more beautiful as the season progresses. The wind was crazy, but you can actually score well on this course. Despite the weather having been wet lately the fairways were fairly good. My balls actually got some bounce which is an attestment to the draining of the course. Can't wait to return.
Great first round
Course is great. Affordable close to the city. Greens are slow but it’s early in the year. Otherwise course was in very good condition.
Another great round at lost marsh
Still one of my favorite courses.
Greens are slow but its first week open. Course otherwise in great shape.
While maybe a little gimmicky still a lot of fun
First time playing here in over 5 years, but Lost Marsh was still everything I remember. There a couple holes on each side which are borderline unfair, but overall it a fun experience considering what the property use to be in the past.
Disrespectful Staff
The staff is absolutely terrible, swearing at us smoking, and telling us they don’t care if we or anyone else comes back again. Even threatening us
Gem of a course.
This is one of the best courses in indiana and the Chicago land area. Challenging. Must play again
Interesting course
Some holes that require target golf thought process. Lots of water to contend with. Course in good condition. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bring extra balls.
Adversity Never Disappoints
Lost Marsh, also referred to around the neighborhood, “Lost Ball March”. Is a real BEATUY tucked away in the corner of Hammond, IN. But with the luxury club house and all the amenities of a private course. Golfers beware a PGA style challenge awaits you. The first 4/5 holes are all difficult. Must carry the water on all of them. If that is easy for you, then what about the wind. Similar to Harbor Side there is nowhere to hide from the Lake Michigan gusts. Buckle up your boot straps, tighten your hat an extra notch and let’s play some f$?king Golf!
