Tzaneen Country Club is situated approximately 10km outside of Tzaneen adjacent to the Tzaneen/Modjadjiskloof road and is an undiscovered gem awaiting the eager challenges of those bold enough to bring their 'A-game' and to perform to the best of their abilities whilst not being intoxicated by the allures of this inland course's serine beauty.
A design which has matured through the years, the Tzaneen Golf Course is a course which rewards good shot making and that can be set up with a high resistance to scoring. That said, in the Limpopo Province the Tzaneen course is reputed to be one of the fairest tests of golf around and should have the high and low handicapper alike urging to book the next round. Covered with indigenous grasses and blessed with putting surfaces unmatched throughout Limpopo, Tzaneen Country Club will compliment the player who can adapt to the subtle breaks and influences of the ever-present grain and will reward the golfer with putts dropping at a whim. Getting on the pure surfaces presents a challenge in itself. A blend of rolling fairways and punishing but fair rough combine to transform this course into a shot makers paradise.

Hidden Gem
I play here every week, it has never deserved a review until now. It has always had beautiful views and it has always been good fun but it lacked quality green keeping. The green keeping staff have finally arrived. Tzaneen Country Club is now a complete golf course. It is a municipal course so it doesn't have bent grass greens but what it does have is consistent and it works. It will not dissapoint, although walk it at your peril :-)
