Beautiful, challenging course
I am an avid golfer, moved to Tucson area 2 years ago, and wish I found this course sooner. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of being out on San Pedro.
Great holf
Course is challenging and fun to play and has a beverage cart.
Windy and Dusty
The course is coming back, the greens were good, but it’s not beck yet. The lack of paved paths made for an extremely dusty round. The course layout is challenging.
Worth the drive
I live an hour away and make the trek a few times per year. It is always quiet making the pace of play great. Dave the pro is super friendly. The new clubhouse is nice. The greens are much improved but not as amazing as they were 6 or so years ago. The layout makes it a lot of fun with doglegs left and right and many mounded fairways. The bunkers aren’t maintained so overgrown and hard pan so definitely a hazard. Fairways are decent but not much grass so many tight lies. Not a course I would play regularly but always worth the trip a few times per year.
San Pedro
I enjoy the course. My one complaint is the tee boxes , they need to be watered., can’t get your tee in the ground.
A great day at San Pedro.
We drove 50 min to get to San Pedro ,arriving at 9AM for a 10:22 tee time. Went to the local donut shop about a quarter of a mile away. Back at the course 9;22. freeze alert in effect, lifted 5 min later. We were a twosome waiting around. Starter came out and said if we were ready to go. Two hours 30 min later we were done. FANTASTIC ROUND. THANK YOU San Pedro. Will be back
Pleasantly surprised
When I pulled into the parking lot, I was expecting a dry, flat desert course. Once we got into play, my perception changed. Nice course, green fairways, greens mostly in great shape. Nice course layout with some elevation changes. Water on the 18th hole makes the hole rather deceptive.
They should have the clubhouse restaurant and bar open past 4pm. A sandwich and a beer after we finished would have been nice
Perfect
Nice day good pace of play
Great restaurant
10/10
Friendly staff
Layout is outstanding
Change to grass in traps
Considering many courses in the southwest these days lack sand in their traps, moving to links style bunkers - long grass instead of sand - is a great solution. Less cost, less work, less frustrating for players, but still challenging.
Slow play kills the fun
5 hour round due to group two holes behind
No one cares
No one wants to hear it
Same old story
Excuses for not checking
Nice course for the money
A lot better shape this year than last. Can tell been pouring the water to it. Sand bunkers need work. The only complaint I have is the duck droppings on the course. # 18 we never got off the cart. REALLY BAD!!
SLOW
Another shotgun deal from some Sun City up north
Birding would be better
Off to Willcox
Water brings the birds and they crap everywhere
Nice course nice people when is winter over?
