This course is beautiful and challenging with many hazards. It is good for intermediate players and has a good pace of play. It usually has little to no wait times with a scheduled tee time.
Longest Golf Round of the Year
I have played this course before but this was the slowest round of golf this year. We were behind two slow groups and waited on every shot and every hole. It took over an hour to play three holes, one being a par three. This was not enjoyable at all and we will not be back since management did not resolve the problem when brought to their attention.
TERRIBLE PACE of PLAY
Don't waste your time or money - 5 hours and 45 minutes to play 18 holes. They could care less- and when you call into ask for assistance, no one came out- infuriating to see how poorly they manage the pace- and don't care once they have your money- how long it takes. Too many groups on top of each other- we called and went into the clubhouse on the turn- play somewhere else if you don't want to wait around for an hour and a half of wasted time. Infuriating.
TERRIBLE PACE OF PLAY
5 hours and 45 minutes to play 18 holes! Ridiculously slow play, and after we called into the clubhouse to ask for the ranger to assist, no one came. We went into the clubhouse on the turn and still, no one came out. Absolutely infuriating to have to wait on every hole while people in front are oblivious and looking for balls, taking all kinds of extra time- Not a matter of playing through, we had no where to go ! They overbook and cannot manage their course. Terrible round of unnecessary waiting and ZERO golf etiquette.or care- Save your money and play somewhere where the actually care about pace of play.
Could not golf today, my partner is handicapped and it was cart path only. No exception was made for a handicapped player.
Good layout, fair condition
This course has a challenging layout: water carries, tough greens, narrow gateways to fairways. But it was in "worn" condition and the greens were recently aerated and not quite recovered. Better attention could be given to some parts of the course that had no grass where grass should be. Also, there seemed to be no drinking water on the entire course and few (if any) garbage cans. GPS on the cart was helpful, as was the onboard club and ball washer.
Where's the water?
I enjoyed a round of golf at Stonebridge but there continues to be an issue. There is no water on the course. I bring my own aluminum can but it runs out I was told once that there is no water due to chemicals used on the course. Really so why can every other course provide water on the course. How hard would it be to erect an enclosed water container on the front and back nine ? Come on
Nice course with friendly staff. Greens are quite tough. Only real issue was the pace of play. On one Teebox I saw eight Golf carts. Thank goodness they were several holes behind us. We were the only two some on the course
After a rainy Saturday and early Sunday morning, the course was in reasonable good shape o good drainage. The staff are very accommodating and friendly.
Terrible layout, roped off fairways
The course was in decent shape, certainly for the $$, but a lot of the traps were a disgrace, weeds and tall grass all around them. But the ridiculous part were the cart ropes in front of the greens. Or should I say in the middle of the fairway. Literally the ropes were 150 yards in front of the greens. Many other fairways were completely roped off. Not just par 3's. 16th fairway was completely roped off for no apparent reason at all. Just stupid. Sticking driveable par 4s in front of long par 3s is also just a recipe for delays. Won't be going back
I'd play it again
I have to say that under $40 for a 6:00 a.m. tee off cannot be beat. Stone bridge usually is the best in this category, the course was in very good shape the greens were true, I still have a bit of a problem with some of the fairways being roped off especially when I get a cart. I gave pace of play 5 stars because we were the 1st group off. I thought we did pretty good as a 3 some for 3 hours and 20 minutes but the foursome behind us didn't think so. I'd recommend this course
too many areas roped off for cart access--pace of play very slow--no ranger or marshall arround
Pace of play
We have to wait from 1st hole to 18 hole, we have to Waite at least 5-10 minutes. We should have enjoy more the course is nice staffs are great please do something.
