Much Improved
First time playing at Stonebridge in over a year. Course was in good condition for March and greens were the best I can remember. Will definitely be back.
Good course, needs touching up
Nice layout, but needs some touching up all around: many tee boxes are not level and lumpy, some bunkers need sand fill, and there has to be better water management. Nice to see some tee boxes already aerated and some cleaning up from the winter going on. Hope this continues, because it's an interesting golf course and fun to play.
Great Course to Play
Stonebridge is a great course to play. Some easy hole but the majority are difficult. It makes you up your game. Friendly people to deal with.
Good pace, greens in good shape
Good Speed Of Play - 4 Hr with 4
Greens in Good Shape
Some Tee boxes were getting fixed but they gave adequate space to tee off
Locker Room A+
Would Play Again
Greens
Those greens have too much going on, you have to creative to get good scores. Nice course
Bad Winter condition
Half way Bathroom is not opening, goose 💩 is everywhere in the fairway, so disgusting and not a pleasant experience to golfing in the winter time, price is still high and course is not in good shape.
Winter golf
Course conditions were very good especially for mid-January. Tees & fairways were noticeably good. Greens were soft and very slow. Could use a rolling though. One issue is the conditions of the sand traps. They need a raking badly. There has been an excessive amount of rain and work will be needed to get these back to top shape.
Great course to sharpen your skills
Stonebridge is a fantastic course to test your game. It’s just long enough and has enough trouble to make careless play get punished yet is fair for the thoughtful player. All in all a very good course.
Course Maintenance Still Sub par
I played this course last week and was hoping to see that improvements were made. The 8th hole was like a minefield of goose droppings. I walked off after the front 9 and had no desire to play the back. As it was it took me over an hour to clean the crap out of the grooves on my clubs, off my shoes, and off the wheels of my golf cart. Meanwhile,,I did not see any maintenance crews out working on the course.
Course Needs Attention
Staff is always friendly and the pace of play was excellent - 8 holes in 4 hours. I have been playing here usually once a month and have noticed that conditions on the course have deteriorated. It appears that the owners are paying more attention to their catering business rather than their golf course.
Even for winter golf overall course conditions were deplorable. Foremost, geese droppings have accumulated throughout the course ( fairways, greens, tee boxes, and in the roughs). About half of these droppings are old and half are recent. Hence there has been no attempt to clean them up. Expect to spend a lot of extra time cleaning the geese droppings from your clubs and shoes. Leaves have been cleared from the course, but have been left in the rough on the side of the fairway.
Winter golf
First real winter round this year. We played at 9:36 with the temperature just under 40 to start. Very tough to score as the wind was up and the greens were frozen making shots bounce all over the place. They were very slow but pretty smooth. Leaves were not a factor as they were blown deep into the woods up against the border fences. Course is in really good condition other than the previous commentary. Worth the price and a fun day.
