Nice day Photo submitted by frankiejo63 on 04/09/2019
Good Value
Good warm up course for the start of the season. 4 hour round although we started at 7:15Am so it should be quick round.
Greens were aerated a couple of weeks ago so there were still holes in greens and they were very slow.
Definitely could use maintenance off the fairways and around the sides of the greens...........a lot of hard-pan and obviously not much maintenance is put into those areas.
Great course for the cost - Wear a helmet on front 9
It was early in the year on a Saturday afternoon on a nice day so understandably so it was crowded. There were 2-3 groups waiting on some holes and no ranger.
With the tee box / green locations I would have benefited from wearing a helmet (dodged a lot of balls out there).
Outside of the near death moments of all different color balls magically appearing within feet of you without a yell or clue of where it came from, it really is a good track for the price! Next time will come at a less peak time :).
Oh, and no Range / Chipping green!
I really like this course
Stonebridge is a really nice golf course with just enough hazards to be challenging but not so many that you are in trouble on every hole.
Good value for the money
As the title says it’s a good value. It’s still early spring but the course was in great shape. The greens were recently aerated but it has to be done.
Aeration hole not properly Sanded. A lot of missed putts resulting in slow play
The course could be much better if properly maintained. Greens are in rough shape. Greens had ee. Aerated recently, but only half of the aeration holes had been filled withe sand and should have been re- sanded. This maxed putting difficult and is a clear sign of neglect by the grounds keeper. It also slowed down the pace of play due to all the missed putts.
Still the same
Stonebridge is still the same: layout is great with a fair deal of challenges, staff very friendly, prices reasonable, pace of play not too bad for a busy place. But there are still no improvements: many tee boxes are still “arched” and not flat, no ball washers (except on carts, if you have one), no drinking water, drainage issues on some holes, etc. Never see maintenance staff out there. I enjoy playing here and will be back, but I just wish some improvements would be made- the course would really be amazing.
I know it’s early in the season we played April 1 so the course is getting ready for the season,
Tea boxes were all covered but I understand, greens and good shape for this time of year, the staff was overwhelmingly friendly which is always A big deal for me so , thank you
Looking forward to playing again in a month.
Much Improved
First time playing at Stonebridge in over a year. Course was in good condition for March and greens were the best I can remember. Will definitely be back.
Good course, needs touching up
Nice layout, but needs some touching up all around: many tee boxes are not level and lumpy, some bunkers need sand fill, and there has to be better water management. Nice to see some tee boxes already aerated and some cleaning up from the winter going on. Hope this continues, because it's an interesting golf course and fun to play.
Great Course to Play
Stonebridge is a great course to play. Some easy hole but the majority are difficult. It makes you up your game. Friendly people to deal with.
Good pace, greens in good shape
Good Speed Of Play - 4 Hr with 4
Greens in Good Shape
Some Tee boxes were getting fixed but they gave adequate space to tee off
Locker Room A+
Would Play Again
Greens
Those greens have too much going on, you have to creative to get good scores. Nice course
Bad Winter condition
Half way Bathroom is not opening, goose 💩 is everywhere in the fairway, so disgusting and not a pleasant experience to golfing in the winter time, price is still high and course is not in good shape.
