Very good for such low price
Front 9 was quite damp, fairways had a bit of length, some tee boxes weren’t great.
Looks like a lot of work has been put in on back 9. Good greens and nice layout.
Great course for the low price. Cant complain when green fees are that low.
Value for money
As the name suggests, its very 'hilly' so make sure you have decent shoes on. The greens are very good!
A brilliant course to begin developing your golf game...
For the price, through the Golf Now App, this was a brilliant course to play as a four ball. It is improving each time we play it and we are already booked in for another round of golf.
Good golf challenge
Course good condition for winter as they use winter mats for every golf shot , small mats which you have to hire and return so add another £1 to booking no big issues.
We'll be back
Course in good condition despite recent heavy rains. Some greens sanded for winter and a couple of temporary tee boxes. Good layout and not too challenging for medium to high handicaps. Some big walks between greens and next tee. Great views over County Down countryside.
1st time playing after a year was playing well for the amount of rain that fell the night & days before got a good dry day played well but still lost the match with my mates will be back again for sure
Nice course in good conditions, short enough course but a number of testing holes. Greens were in great condition.
A nice fair course!
I’ve been playing this course for a few years, the improvements they made a couple of years ago really helped bring it up to scratch with a new par 5 second hole and lovely short par 4 8th hole which are much superior to the previous layout. The course is manageable in terms of length with a few greens high handicappers should be able to reach in 2 but a couple of trickier holes mixed in to keep it fun, the greens are well kept and it is a scenic place to play golf.. I do think there are more challenging courses in the belfast area where you can play for a lower green fee and that their Sunday prices are way too high at around £25 for a green fee. These fees put the course towards the very expensive range for walk on green fees- you can play supposedly better courses for the same price at the weekend but you can get deals on GolfNow. Also they can be a little fussy about tee times if you rock up without booking even though the round is usually manageable and ok speed of play.
Course was a bit wet in some areas which is not a surprise considering the rain lately but on the main very playable. You had to play of mats on the fairways which will benefit the course from the end of winter. No winter greens in use which was great although the tee boxes were the standard winter mats.still an enjoyable round on one of my favourite courses. Staff in clubhouse very helpful.

Second time playing this course and score probably my best score in 2019. But card machine wasn't working in club house and we weren't told about temporary tees or greens. But other than that had an enjoyable day and will deffo be back in the spring time. Tee boxs looked great. Fairways played well with a few areas of standing water. Greens were rock hard but once you got the pace locked down they weren't to bad. Next to none ofcourse amenities. Which dropped my score. But all in all s good day out and my score reflected the conditions more than anything else. Back nine needs better signage for ease of access between holes.
