Fun Golf Day!
The course was in excellent condition. The staff were very nice and friendly. The greens were pretty fast , but we got used to them after a few holes.
We will play it again and would recommend it to our friends.
This course is very relaxing with lovely veiws
We really enjoy playing here. It is so nice green and the surrounding views are breath taking. The staff at the golf shop are friendly and also when we are done we always enjoy stopping for a bite and some beer, the people there are also very nice. We love the (halibut poppers). Yes we plan to play there again and again.
Beautiful place to play
The course was great and the weather was great. The only thing bad were the greens. There were brown patches and pits. Other than that, we had an excellent time.
Jerks ahead
I always enjoy playing Sea Pines resort 9 hole course, except yesterday. There was a group of six that tee'ed off way before I did. When I got to hole two they where just getting to the green, they search for every mis hit ball for over five minuets, while there balls finally get on the green they sit in there carts waiting for ea one in the group to putt, it was the longest none holes I've ever played. Finally the club house head pro came out and gave them a warning. One more issue. Freesbie golf should not be played at a golf course, close it down and move it to a park.
Los Osos Great Views
I liked this facility but wasn't thrilled with course. Did not like that they frisbee course and kick ball course on same greens. They tee off and run up behind you. I'd recommend it to a friend, but I'm not in a hurry to play it again. Great value for HOT DEAL through Golf Now.
Quaint Course
Got away with my son who is just starting to play golf. I knew this would be a good track for him. Many short holes. Tee boxes were pretty chewed up, but fairways and greens were fine. Pace of play was fine. The course was hosting a concert that took place next to the 9th green, so that hole was shut down. Players were playing 7, then 8, then 7 again to finish up. This caused a log jam, but nothing to complain about. The concert looked like it was a fun locals hangout.
My favorite 9 hole course!
Sea pines is an awesome 9 hole course that I have been playing since I was in the 7th grade. The staff is always friendly and the course is always inviting. I will be playing here a lot more often.
Central Coast 9 hole Gem
It was first time using GolfNow.com, but had unexpected Easter Day off from family. Took reluctant wife (her 1st time in over a yr) for afternoon at Sea Pines. She loved the scenic views from most of the course as she hacked her way around. We mostly played best ball even tho' the course wasn't crowded. Wife said she'd love to go back some day. It had been my 5th time there in a yr, will be going back soon.
Recommendable
Pace of play was nice, and the course looked good. Couple longer holes make for a fun challenge.
Sweet little central coast jewel
Par 31 for 9 played pretty true. It has a few water shots that are challenging. Hole 3 a long par 4 with the second shot straight into a head wind. Hole 6 requires a brave 250 yard tee shot through some tough trees after a pond. Great time with a great staff. Halibut salad was awesome at the clubhouse. Great for non golfer golfers and kids.
By the Bay
Nice little course with a little difficulty figuring out the direction markers for each tee. Fortunately I was playing with someone with more directional savvy than me. The weather was cool and foggy but the glimpses of the water and the Morro Rock were outstanding. The Pro Shop attendant was helpful and let us start earlier than our tee time. After we finished play we stopped by the restaurant for a drink and appetizer. Vey attentive service and reasonable prices. Happy ending to a fun day
Round 2 Sea Pines...
Not a great experience at Sea Pines at all today. The weather was beyond their control so I cant really hold it against them, but the service was a different story. I was supposed to play earlier in the week but was cancelled due to bad weather conditions. I received a prompt call back from the owner explaining I could go in Monday no problem. However, the pro-shop manager is a hand full and a half. I gave them 3 stars in my last review for not so good service because of him. This time was worse. I explained our situation and all we get is, "I can't help you", "you dont show up you dont play". After 15 minutes of snide comments towards me and my friend who had traveled to come to this course I recommended... sorry buddy. He gets on the phone with the owner who explains the situation, and, while still talking on the phone waved us off the said, "just go on and play the hole!" What's a person gotta do for good help these days?
My round at Sea Pines
My round at Sea Pines went fairly well. I enjoy this courses scenery and view of the bay, especially. Unfortunately there's a lot of construction going on and it's a bit noisy. I would definitely come again.
tough little couse
Great course to practice your short game. Also has four par 4 holes.
Decent par 3 course
great course to work on your short game. Plus a couple holes you can drive.
READ THE FINE PRINT ...
I left home 430am to get there 15 minutes early for my 7am tee time. I arrived 645am ... Pro shop didn't even open til 715am. I had another tournament 30 minutes away, so I only played 7 holes. As with nearly all GolfNow.com reservations, I thought cart was included ... Tried to charge me add'l $16.00 with no explanation or even remorse for being late. I walked.
Strange layout without direction markers leaves you wondering which way to go after holes 1&5.
Little to no layout description so be careful. I hit 2 great drives that ended up in hidden hazards.
Greens were good though ... Silver lining found.
For me ... Way too much effort and patience given the 140 mile drive.
Enjoy!
This course has some great views of the ocean, and has enough hazards to make it challenging, but not frustrating
Pro shop personnel was exceptional. At first, he seemed dismissive to us as newcomers, but was very helpful when we left a cell phone in the cart. He called me back when I called the cell number and even charged the phone overnight.
The course is beautiful and challenging - we were not sure about the sequence of the holes, as the cart paths are not clearly marked, but we floundered our way through - luckily there was not a party behind us.
This course is fun and wide open.
Great irons course. Longest hole about 280 yards. Great views of the morro bay estuary.
Fun Executive 9 hole course
The course was in excellent shape especially for Jan. Plays well with a few challenging holes.
