Big improvement
Greens are so much better now compared to last year. Maintenance guys are doing a great job bringing this beautiful course back to prime condition. Only comment would be that hole signage could be better.
Getting there!
Huge improvement in greens and course conditions compared to last year. Hole signage can still be improved but the maintenance guys are doing a good job restoring this course.
Lots of hard work going on
Course layout is really good. Hard work coming back from a shutdown. Greens will come good.
Will be back to play and look forward to seeing the progress
No grass greens!
Disappointing this course seems to have 0 maintenance. Some “greens” were complete sandpits with not a single sprig of grass, others had bumpy clusters of grass and others were a minefield of duck poo - all in all unputtable.
A lot of potential in this course but needs better maintenance - signage/direction as a start.
Clear markers at the 100 and 150 metres. Bunkers were below average.
The greens were good condition.
Hilly. Need a cart really. But enjoyed it. Good course for this part of the country. Greens challenging.
Rough track
Real pity this course isn’t in better nick. The fairways are very patchy and full of weeds. Considering the rough is left very long - at one point I walked straight past the tee markers as they were covered in long grass - it makes a challenging layout tough. The course design is great but they’ve left trees to branches to overgrow leaving very narrow tee offs and approaches.
Course design is fantastic and it’s a real pity the up keep is letting down what could be a great course. When I visited bar was and restaurant was closed too so really felt a bit deserted - I played a couple of rounds at Bowral golf club - course is flatter and not as interesting but it’s kept in much better condition. Plus you can finish the round with a beer and a sandwich which is kinda what country golf is all about.
A pretty course
A good course and good value for 18 holes. A bit hilly so next time we would rent a cart. One group of 5 in front of us held our group of 3 up for 4 holes but otherwise a good round
