Boca Greens Country Club
Boca Greens Country Club is like most Florida golf courses in that it has a rather flat landscape with plenty of water, but it stand out for its scenic views and challenging but player-friendly layout designed by Joe Lee. Water is a prominent presence throughout the course and there are also numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with, but these difficult elements are nicely balanced by ample room off of the fairways. One of the trickier holes is the par-5 17th, which is almost completely surrounded by water. The layout has a few challenging holes but overall a range of skill levels can play the golf course. There are also five sets of tees to make it even more approachable. Boca Greens C.C. boasts an enjoyable and fair round that is one of the area's best values.

Second time we played this course. Our foursome had a great time. Pace of play was very good.
Terrible Greens and traps
The greens were some of the slowest I’ve ever played. The traps were virtually clay, not sand.
I have played this course often and they continue to maintain the course in good condition. Tee boxes are in need of a overhaul but greens and fairways in good shape.
It's a nice course. The staff is always friendly and nice. Greens seemed to be in very good conditions. Pace of play for a Saturday was decent. Now my only issue is the Bunkers. They are horrible. Yes, I mean that. Lots of rocks, no real sand and just brutal to hit out of.(I have a pretty good sand game) If they could get the bunkers under control it would be a really great improvement.
GOOD FOR A CHEAP RATE
I dont know how this place survives "in-season" as they charge $50+ a round. We paid $11 on a hot deal before taxes & fees and that's about the right price. The course has a decent layout, but its a disaster off the fairway. Sand was hard as a rock. Rough was regular "lawn grass" that was left too high. Grass just off the fringe has numerous sand/bald spots.
Not saying that this place should be like PGA National or Breakers, but fix the course.
OH....hole 6 is a par 5 and the tree hangs over the entire tee box, making the left side & center unusable.
A Golf Challenge
traps need sand
Greens are in great shape
Fairways are good and getting better
The course is kept in very good condition.
The Teebox ,fairways and greens kept in great shape. My second time playing here and brought a friend with me for today round. The fairways were in good shape considering all the heavy rain we’ve been having. I’ll be back!
No bunker maintenance
This course have a great layout but the bunkers have no sand, they are imposible to play. The greens are too slow
This course is challenging
Overall, this course was seemingly designed to be challenging. There are a lot of bunkers and bodies of water. The course length permits the use of every club. The practice area was superb, consisting of a driving range, bunker, and putting green. The price was a great value for this course. I’m definitely looking forward to returning in the nearby future.
Good course for the price I paid ($11)
For the $11 I paid, it was a good course. Lots of sandy grass near the greens make chipping ? pitching a train wreck. No way I would go here in-season and pay $40+ for a round.
Greens looked good, but were a little slow....so the breaks weren't as severe.
Played from the white tees and enjoyed ourselves. Will be back while the rates are low.....then will come back for 2020 summer rates.
The greens were rolling nice - great condition
Much better than 6 months ago - definitely would play there again !
It Was the Best of Time and the Worst of Times.
Boca Greens is a challenging golf course. Each hole is unique. The Greens roll true throughout the round. The sand traps need sand, Fairways need some weed treatment.
The course challenges you to use all your clubs.
Put this course on your must play list.
Course was average with some nice holes. Conditions were OK with only 1 temporary tee.
Course has dogleg lefts on the front 9 and dogleg rights on the back 9 so its a evenly challenging for both golfers who draw or cut
Staff was overwhelmed and somewhat helpful but not very organized
Pace of play was slow. Round took 5 hours on a Saturday
OK value for the price
Three words; DOG LEGS
The course was in better shape.. The greens were in very good shape and played true throughout the ground., Sand traps need work and so do the tee boxes. This is a good course to play regularly. It has a competitive tract and the fairways are framed nicely with a complete . tree line, Staff is accommodating and friendly
Very Poor Experience
This was my first time playing here and I will never come back. At this point, I’d strongly urge anyone else not to play here. The staff was very unfriendly to us. The ranger singled my foursome out the whole time, asking us to speed up “because the group behind us brings 25 people to the course every week and we are playing too slow.” However, there was a slow playing foursome in front of us the whole day that we had to wait for at every tee. We felt rushed the whole time, and were unable to get any rhythm since we knew we had to play very fast in front of the priority group behind us. Made it seem like it was a private course and we were unwelcome. The course was packed with tee times all day, so not sure why pace of play is stressed since the everyone was waiting for the group in front of them because they loaded up the tee times. Unless I am given an apology and explanation, I will not come back here.
Welcome to Boca Greens! I used to work there and the place is an absolute circus when you own a golf course there’s just certain things you can’t cut corners on and that’s exactly what they do.. they’ve over book the tee sheet in anticipation of someone canceling so they didn’t miss out on any groups yet when everyone shows up then what do you do?? Then I was left in the pro shop to deal with all the angry people while he went and hid lol then they sell a frequent players card that they advertise as you will always pay the lowest price no matter what yet then they’d turn around and give canam a cheaper rate lmao place is a joke especially the fat bozo with the Napoleon complex who’s in charge.. stay away
