Fun
This course has a lot of elevation change. It's in decent shape. The staff is great. My son and I had a great time.
Chefken
Great job Course looks great and I really appreciate all the work in bringing back the course to great condition
Los Lagos
4 of us played Los Lagos on Feb 8. It was a good day weather wise, not as much wind as predicted. We like this course for the value and the challenge. Several greens could use a little more water.
Los Lagos had a monthly special that added a hot dog, chips, and a soda with the green fees. Good little snack at the turn. If we had called them directly we would’ve saved on the taxes and convenience fees.
Good Place and Golf
The course was in good shape but a lot of the sand traps were not at all sand, just hard dirt. The course was better than Huukan. Made the turn in an hour and 45 minutes and had lunch afterwards at the restaurant. Pretty good food but a little pricey.
Over seeding of greens not filled in, course empty so we moved right along. When we finished clubhouse closed, couldn’t even use restroom
Fun 18 in the midst of strong winds
We had played 9 and utilized the practice range which we really enjoyed so we decided to play 18 and don't ya know the winds and gusts were crazy!! We however had a great time, did alot of laughing.....had some good shots and lots of lost balls!!
Folks in the pro shop and those there to play are all very kind and friendly. Would highly recommend giving this course a try!!
Los Lagos
Not at all what we expected. Ball washer on first tee had, I would guess 1”” of dirty water in it. The rest on the course were bone dry . What in the heck does it cost to send out a greens staff member with a bucket to fill these up? The greens were awful!!!slow as molasses in January, there was not a lick of sand in any bunker they were just MUD in the bottom.. The fairways were not bad but in certain area’s were as bald as an eagle with no grass showing. Our son had played the course before and highly recommended it saying it was the best they played including the Avi. I do not know if there are water restrictions right now but it seems that the course is just crying out for better maintenance. Pace of play was good until our group ground to a halt on the eighth tee. We were not informed that there was a pro am tournament in front of us!!!!! On the tenth we waited and waited because it was six players playing in front. We got to the 11 th tee and thought that good etiquette they would let us through but , o- no they continued to tee off. That was when I phoned the pro shop to see what the heck was happening in front of us. The person we originally checked in with answered the phone and explained about this tourney. It was meant to be one pro and a foursome but that was not the case in front of us but they were only playing to the 15 th hole. This person also said that this was ALL explained to us at check in but that was NOT the case he did not tell us anything of the sort. Sorry to rant on but as you can read this was a course in terrible condition and it certainly spoiled a first time outing, and the last, to this venue.
Terrible Condition
This course was not in good shape at all and was extremely muddy with tons of areas where the fairways were being repaired, also when I was on the 11th hole one of the employees would not stop talking when I'm trying to tee off and it distracted me from hitting my shot
terrible condition
this was opening day after reseeding. it was nor ready for play. the greens were terrible. there were grass shaving all over them. the fairs ways were mediocre at best. dirt mounds all through them. weeds everywhere. sands traps no sand just dirt and weeds in them. we didn’t ever play out of them. didn’t want to wreck our wedges. The staff was very nice and polite.
