Play here if you get the chance!
This course is easily in my top 5 ever played. Amazing track carved straight out of the ozark mountains. Very challenging but also breathtaking. In amazing condition - even in the middle of a hot dry summer.
Ozarks golf with a touch of class
The competition is growing in the Ozarks for major golf locations, Branson Hills is at every calculated measure one of the most demanding!
Great time at a great course
The course was in great condition. The gentleman in the clubhouse gave us some course advice which was very useful since it was our first round there. There is no driving range but had a warmup net which allowed you to take some nice practice swings. The course requires you to hit shots. It is narrow ion some holes which required us to make shots. Overall, I would highly recommend this course.
Branson Hills Tipped
I will start by saying the layout of this course is awesome. There are a few holes where you can pound driver but the vast majority are pretty tight and require more of a target style tee shot placement. The only complaints I would have about the course today would be they were punching the greens while we were playing and they never said a word about that prior to us teeing off. They said they were punching fairways but not a word about greens. Would have been nice for them to be forthcoming and maybe offering a discounted rate considering the punch marks while putting. Other than that the golf course was awesome and I would highly recommend playing it if you are in the area.
Branson Hills
This is one of the best overall courses that I have had the privilege to play. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind, polite and helpful. The course itself was in great shape and very challenging. The greens were lightening fast, yet very receptive and rolled very true. Great course! Can't wait to come back to Branson and play it again!
50/50
We had been looking forward to playing golf at Branson Hills golf course for an entire year!. My rating is 50/50 on this experience. We arrived at the Clubhouse very eager! Needless to say the first impression was very low. The clubhouse had MANY housekeeping issues. Dirty entrance, disgusting restrooms, and no one even there to greet us or assist with our bags. We enter the ProShop not sure what to expect. However, we were welcome with a friendly hello, and a swiftly checkout. The representative at the desk was knowledgeable, helpful, and with a warm smile. No one had a name tag on or we would be giving this gentleman a 5 star review. We then walked over to the restaurant on site. The place looked closed, and a cleaning lady with cutoff shorts and a tank top came around the corner eventually. We were obviously in her way, and she made it clear that this course did NOT offer any breakfast, but we could drive up the road to McDonalds. We decided to skip her suggestion. Tee time was just a few moments away, so decided to head out on the course we had been waiting for. The first hole was flawless and beautiful! Our group was having the time that we had expected! Shortly after hole 5, a beverage cart attendant finally surfaced. Or at least we thought she worked at this prestige course. She was half dressed (showing her mid-section), and covered in tattoos. She was very pushy, and the ladies in our group were highly offended! We didn’t have to worry about her much though, because we NEVER saw her again. We played this challenging course with nothing but a great time! We felt like we had the entire course to ourselves. At the end of the round we stopped by to speak with the manager about the lack of service that had been offered, but the (new) desk attendant said that management had left for the day. The rest of the weekend we played other courses in the Branson area. We will NOT be back to this course. The level of service we were offered at surrounding courses was held at a MUCH higher standard than Branson Hills. It’s a shame that the lack of service and staff put such a bad taste in our mouths. Would not recommend playing here. Too many beautiful courses in the area. Do not waste your money here!
Perhaps you've heard the phrase "The New Normal". Because of the COVID pandemic, some things are not like the way the used to be. First, it created a labor shortage which continues on. Second, and to your complaint, it has reduced a lot of the direct person-to-person contacts, especially in tourist areas, where people have to deal with people traveling from other areas. So, you may have to drop your bags off yourself, or carrying them in from the parking lot, and put them on a cart yourself, at more places than you used to. The upside, you're saving that tip money!!!!
So, you thought you were going to Pebble Beach?
Great Layout Awesome Views.
Excellent course with a large number of elevated tees with great views.
Awesome condition.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The course was in extremely good condition except for the greens had recently been sanded. Very challenging course with a lot of elevation changes.
Play this at least once!
Not a big fan paying a lot of money to play, but this course was worth it, at least to play it once! Excellent condition. Beautiful design and scenery. Great experience!
Championship Course
Great course for the young and low handicapper.
Return to cart path 50 -100 yards from green.
No breakfast at restaurant.
Challenging
Course was in great shape considering the amount of rain the past month. Definitely not a course you want to play if you don’t keep the ball in the yard. There are a lot of forced carry’s off the tee and deep rough off the fairways. Greens are rolling smooth and fast.
Amazing course.
When they say holiday hills they mean HILLS! Incredible course from the golf shop to the 18th tee. Nothing short of incredible, especially for a public course. Will be playing again!
Very scenic
My wife and I played here on a very windy Memorial Day weekend. Her tee boxes were very often only 10 yards in front of mine. So it played very long for her. Accuracy is a premium skill if you want to score well. Otherwise, bring lots of balls. I am an 8 handicap and lost 2 balls that I’m sure were very near where I was looking for them but off the fairway generally is gone. The first 4-5 holes are long narrow holes with postage stamp greens. The word Hills is appropriate for the name of this course. It’s very scenic and you will need to be good at adjusting your distances for elevation changes. All in all, everyone there was very courteous and helpful and the club house is nice. The price for us to play seemed a bit high for what it is. $150 per person was close to the Bass Pro owned courses. They really need some women’s tee box adjustments but we still had a decent time. Don’t miss the hundreds of goldfish on 17 bridge!

Silver 72 6299 yards
Orange 72 5323 yards
The forward tee is almost 1000 yards shorter than the next one back. On some holes it's a whole lot shorter. Running it through my kind, that it is on holes where it really needs to be. On a few holes, it is not much shorter. On some of those it needs to be. Little known, on 9 and 17, there are alternate forward tees further up, to account for hazards.
Must have it confused with another course. BHGC has a full range, chipping green, and putting clock.
