course requires more accuracy than long hits finally beat the brother in law

I cant complain about the course or the staff, but what did annoy us is we booked 18 holes to drive 1 hour to be told there was only 9 holes open. So we had to play the same holes twice and with winter tees, the course was shorten quite a bit. I've played it before and the course is a very good but I think Golfnow needs to inform customers on course updates as there selling the tee times!

second time playing this course, still using fairway mats unfortunately as the weather just isn’t improving. quite soggy all around, but the ball rolled nicely on the greens even if they were quite soft. 16 holes open, staff and greenskeepers helpful and friendly, will definitely be back to play the full course if we could just get a run of decent weather

Played here a few times now, it never disappoints. Layout of the course is forgiving and there are a few challenging holes. 2 of the fairways were covered in leaves which made play hard but generally in great condition

Great course for n beautiful condition. Greens top quality. Got a great day to enjoy the surrounding views. First time playing but won’t be our last visit

Welcome in the pro shop was excellent. He even came out to us on the putting green to tell us people had rang up and cancelled, so we could set off early.

We had so many different weather conditions and it was our first time on this course. We found it a real test, but have more or less already decided to return, hopefully in calmer weather, to give it another go.

Towards the end of our round, we couldn't help but notice random players on random holes who we had not previously seen on our round. Do they just wait for the pro to leave and then pop up out of their burrows. If, and only if that is the case, could you learn some manners. DO NOT leave your bags by the side of a green and go off for a stroll. DEFINATELY DO NOT meander across the fairway when people are waiting to tee off.

Short Fairways, fast greens and a lot of short par 4s makes this a course that an average golfer can shoot quite well on. Only downside is there is a good few blind tee shots and hard to know what line to take! But once you’ve played it once you will be fine!

A fantastic days golf , course in excellent condition greens very fast which I found testing however high handicap golfer so not to worry. Club pro friendly on arrival and course was superb. I haven’t played this course for a while but definitely be back soon 👍🏻

Played this course after a couple of hours rain in the morning, held quite a lot of moisture which made for a challenging round.

rough was very long, and held a lot of moisture. If you aren’t hitting fairways it makes for a very difficult time on the second shot. Quite narrow fairways and an unusual amount of blind tee shots.

Have to say it’s decent value though, and would like to play again in drier weather when the grass has been cut down some more.

Great course in great condition. One of my favourite courses in the country..

I had been told how good the course was, unfortunately on the day I played it ,I was very disappointed.Several greens had tyre marks on them and grass needed cutting throughout the course.

Brilliant course, definitely has been upgraded since I last played. Greens played perfectly.
