Southwinds Golf Course

This course is not long but it has many challenges. Greens were very good. Fairways good. Only issue was a group ahead of 4 who were not quick and did little to speed up when leaving the green. But they only played the front 9. So the back was clear. Will be back. I am determined to do better scoring as I know I can rise to the challenge.

Great course for beginners as every hole is pretty much a straight line. Staff could use some work on their customer relations. The older guy by the golf carts has an attitude every time we go. The kids helping him are very friendly. The staff in the shop could use some work too. It’s a great course to go to since I’m local but I don’t go here often because the staff a major turn off.

Short, simple course. In good condition. Very good value. Played in under 4 hours on a Saturday. Excellent for beginners and those who aren’t practicing for the US Open.

I had unpleasant experience here, and I played almost everywhere in tri-county - this is the first bad review I have ever written. I paid for 18 holes round tee time 0800. I am aware they pair you up with someone if you are a single player - its ok. But they force you to SHARE a golf cart with someone as well. ??? I PAID for my own round and that includes a golf cart. People do all kind of things - smoke cigars, drink bear and what not. Its ok, but why would I have to share a cart with someone who enjoy doing their own things? It is a robbery, because each person paid already for a round, which should include a cart. Here, if you want to ride alone, they force you to pay additional $12. Just Be aware.

We’d only played here once before and left wondering why we don’t play here more often. We enjoyed our round a lot; course is in very good shape and pace of play not too slow.. There are plenty of water hazards and sand traps to make the course challenging. Staff was pleasant.

The course was nice and in good shape and enjoyed playing there with some friends. The Staff at this golf course is very disrespectful and puts little value in the entertainment and service of their customers. As I showed up the cart guy said I should have booked a tee time if I wanted to play the course even though there was barely anyone on it. Staff was reluctant to sell me range balls and made excuses about how the machine didn’t work before eventually caving in. Cart guy refused to send me off to the first tee for 20 minutes despite there being nobody on it, and when I told him that his response was “go find something else to do”. When I was on the 18th hole on my second hit that same cart guy told me I had to immediately leave the course and put the cart in as the sun was going down (still 45 mins before sunset) I responded by telling him that I was playing for my personal all time record (which I was). He responded by telling me “I don’t care about your record”. The staff there was so unfriendly, selfish, and impatient that they couldn’t wait the 2 minutes for me to finish the last hole and instead took great pride in putting a dent in my day. I will not be returning to this course and recommend that everyone stays away from a terrible group of people.

This course is very close to my house and was my home course for many years.
Had not played there in 5 years, as I have been playing more executive courses as my distance isn’t what it used to be.
What a pleasant surprise. Like seen an old dear friend after a long time.
Totally enjoyed the round. The course is in great shape and while my distance was not as long as it it used to be
I was more accurate in more in the fairway than I used to be.
Scored 96 used to score in the eighties. Even had a whole in one there.
It was a total pleasure.

Got paired with three guys 2 long hitters played championship tees. Did not settle in until back nine
People need to tell yell 4.
I enjoyed the foursom.

2-3 times playing the course. There r some quirky holes where u need to have played to stay out of trouble. Overall very enjoyable.
