This course continues to go downhill. The tees are dust bowls, sand traps concrete, fairways stink and greens so bad that we had to laugh at most of the rolls. Maybe for someone who doesn't take golf serious or playing for the first time it just might work. Skip this place and find someplace else for a few bucks more.
The owner had no incentive to fix since the place is usually full. I can actually see the course converting to condos.
Go somplace else
Usually play this course from October to May and never saw the course look this awful. Recommendation: Skip playing this course until they improve the condition from awful to at least good. If they increase the price, which you know they will, don't waist either your time or money.
I use to like playing this course in the off season, but with all the play during snowbirds season the course has become worn and the ragged.
The owner needs to start paying attention or it will eventually get him in the end and cost more.
Also, with all the construction going on it makes it difficult to stay focused.
Oh, be careful of the gator. I was just five feet from the gator when it decided to head in the other direction. They've been warned and I doubt they'll do anything about it.
great little course
I had a great round on this little course, staff were very friendly and helpful - from Fred who made sure my rental clubs were on the buggy, to Jenny in the restaurant who is extremely efficient. The course is short, I could have used a pitching wedge on most par 3's but by some omission mine was not supplied, so I ended up choking my 9 iron or using the SW. Course is in good condition. Great practice for accuracy of shot and for your short game. Drove the 2 longest greens with my 3 wood. Apart from some slow play, HIGHLY recommend.
Good course to work irons
A good variety of hole distances. Good for sharpening iron game.
Improve Your Short Game
Great course to improve on your short game! The 9th and18th are nice "island"challenges. The staff is very friendly. Be sure to get on their mailing list, occasionally they have a night golf scramble which is a lot of fun.
Fairly easy course, I think it would be great for beginners, Café was simple and pleasant, Great Value, Fantastic Experience!
sharpen your short game
This course offers multiple chances to focus on your short game, but retains the need to pull driver out of the bag once or twice. Fairways are generous and in good shape in early Summer.. Greens are also in good shape and somewhat larger than you might expect. Water and/or sand can come into play on most holes.
It was a good time
The course was fast, but allowed for most clubs to get used at least once. We were able to get a full round in in a little over two hrs. I plan on taking my wife there later on....long enough that I can enjoy it but it is short and fast enough to keep her attention and not become frustrated.
Any port in a storm
The course was in better condition than in the past but that is not saying much. The course is fine for iron practice.
Lovely little course this, nice greens, booked it on Golf Now, got a good price and wasn't dissapointed, friendly staff too.
A number of tree and water hazards to challenge the average golfer.
My partner and I were able to finish 18 holes in 2 hours and 10 minutes! Everything went smoothly.
We love the course. Everyone is attentive from the moment you arrive to the time you leave. It's great place to go!
A fair test for the average or below average golfer
The day we played, the course was not very busy. As the course is surrounded by residential homes, it appeared that a good portion of the residents were gone for the summer. We were greeted by a very friendly employee at the pro shop, which of course makes you feel like your important to them and their business. I have encountered some other courses in the off season, where the staff appears to not be happy to opening up their course to outsiders. Being an executive style course, your going to get mostly par 3's. As a 17 handicap, I tried to make the most of it by playing from the tips. Especially making more of a challenge on the 3's. There were nice driver holes too, and set up for both fading and drawing the ball. All in all I will probably go back, next time I'm visiting the area, especially if I see a value on golf now.
Great place to play golf with my 88 year old dad
This is a great course to take my 88 your dad for a round of golf. There are many lengthy holes and there are many short holes. This is his favorite place to play. Staff is always great and we look forward to having the bar re-opned very soon.
Nice place for beginners and close to the beaches
Nice place for beginners, good to practice long and short distance. Challenging with some narrow holes and water hazards. Very friendly staff. The only area we missed is a sep. pitching and chiping area, even the driving range could be in a better condition.
Had a great time. Brought my nephews who were beginners. Staff was great.
Great for beginners and practice for short game.
Another Great Day In Florida
Much more than I expected. Great job of getting 18 holes in such a nice area. At 73 years young it provided me what I expected.
Fast greens! We had a good time. Played at a nice steady rate.
Great little course
This is a great course for the average golfer who does not have a long distance drive.
