Very average
Fairways were in rough condition and it seemed like very few players were concerned with fixing divots. Staff was friendly and professional
Fix this dump!!
Course is in dire need of overseeding!! Hit the ball down the middle and be on dirt!! City of Modesto is to cheap to fix it!!! Could be a nice course if taken care of and improve the terrible condition!!
Golf day
Fun time. More unrepaired ball marks than the last time, but not excessive. Ball still rolled true. Pace of play was an 8. Will be back.
B Rad
Pace was great. More in repaired ball marks than the last 3 times I’ve played there. Still the greens were running true and quick, especially on those tough down hillers.
Course was good
My concern was with TeeOff saying that the last spot on my hot deal was sold out.. They said they contacted course to see if I could add another player.. No player ever showed up…
Golf
Fun day. Teed off at 11:39unloading clubs back into the carat 3:15. Few ruffed spots on some fairways. Greens rolled nicely. A few more ball mark fixings wouldn't hurt, have to keep in mind that Creekside is a public course.
Very nice
Thank you
Needs work
Bunkers have no sand due to over watering of bunkers. Ball washers have no water in them and pace of play nor enforced causing 4.5 hrs rounds.
Creekside Golf Course
The fairways were hard and difficult to hit from. The tee boxes likewise could have been softened up with a little more water.
Creekside golf course
The fairways were very hard and difficult to lift the ball up, The tee boxes also could have been softer. That being said, an enjoyable course.
Average course but a beautiful day.
Slow pace of play. Greens are hard and fast. Some tough pin placements. Dirt traps typical of valley courses.
Good Deal & Track! Bunkers, SAD!
Course is in pretty good shape, looks as they're trying to improve a lot of area's, thinning grass & bare spots!
Bunkers are not the areas they attempt to improve! City has NO desire to purchase sand! They have NO PRIDE!
Fix the Bunkers
Creekside is a nice local course, but for the muddy/rock hard bunkers (depending on what time of year) need to be fixed. Bunkers have been terrible for years. Throughout the the years I’ve seen course fees increase but course or amenities do not improve. Also pace of play is slow, during the back 9 it’s common to have 2 groups waiting on most holes.
Fast paced play / homeless
The pace of play was constant and flowed. It was somewhat unnerving with homeless by the clubhouse and on the course walking aimlessly.
Overall, the day was enjoyable. I wouldn’t golf alone without a male companion due to the homeless on the course.
Good Course for casual play
If you're looking for a course to just go out and swing your clubs this is a nice course to do it. It has a good variety of difficulty. The course is easy to navigate. There are a couple of patches of tall weeds that probably should be trimmed down. We had a tee time of 2:30 but when we got there was one teeing off and another group waiting so we just started on the back nine instead. Maybe they can stagger their start times a little further out so there isn't so much congestion to tee off. The staff was very friendly.
