Beautiful course

The place is great. Very friendly managers. Helpful.
the pace of play was fast. these members don't fool around.
Fairway terrific, greens, fast and perfect. Degree of difficulty? tough. Tom Watson loves sand bunkers near the greens.
you will love it. Food is great as well.

Largest greens ever played

The cart atttendant's were somewhat rude asking us to park in the upper lot when we had the last tee time and there were plenty of spaces around the clubhouse ...it made us feel like 2nd class citizens.

The Manor is in great shape from tee to green! it is also a beautiful layout. Fantastic!8/9/1

My twosome was paired with another GolfNow duo and we bad a great day at the Manor. The only thing that wasn"t emaculate was the sand (due to recent storms) and the course staff was working on that as we played, so by the time we got to the back nine, the bunkers were pristine too. The greens rolled great and the fairways were in great shape as well. The cart girl was right on time every time on a hot day.

This course is a great value if you are willing to play in the afternoon

The layout of this course and the condition are fabulous. You can tell this was built to be a high-end private country club. Clubhouse staff are very courteous and treat you as if you were a member. I played in the afternoon on a Sunday to take advantage of the lower greens fees. It was hot (in the 90's) and we only saw the beverage cart one time all day (on the 18th hole)! Otherwise, a great course and I will definitely be going back.

Beautiful, Challenging course

The course was in fantastic shape the day I played. Greens were super soft (no effort to repair ball marks) but relatively quick, bunkers were soft and well maintained (believe me, I had about 5 bunker shots - they're absolutely everywhere on this course). Course wasn't crowded at all for the middle of the day on a Sunday, and we never felt rushed.

Pin placements were brutal; almost every single one was tucked, on a plateau, or on the side of a slope. Don't know if they were setting up for a tournament or what, but it was tough for a weekend golfer like me.

If you struggle off the tee this course will punish you. Almost all the landing spots have bunkers and the fairways tend to have water in play a lot of the time.

Also, like others have said, the carts are sorta crummy. We had one that barely finished 18 and would delay a few seconds before starting up. You'd think such an expensive club could afford decent carts...

All things considered, If you can snag a 50% deal like I did, jump on this one quickly!

Very long

This course is in great shape, but very slow play and shortages of golf carts that work. It is a very long course, but challenging and in great shape. The "castles" surrounding the course is amazing.

Course was in great shape and we had a great time playing on it.

This was the second time I played on this course and it was in brillaint as expected.
There was a shortage of carts so that was a little embarassing as we had to wait for one cart for a few minutes. That cart turned out to be faulty so had to be swapped out on the 2nd hole. This was just a minor irritation and did not in any event spoil our enjoyment of the course. Will definatley be back.

Course was in fantastic shape.

This was the fourth time I have played this course and it continues to be one of my favorites. From tee box to green, the course was in fantastic shape. Played late in the afternoon and the pace was perfect. The staff was friendly and fortunately the beverage cart made it around several times during the day. A must play if you haven't had the chance before.

Awesome course

The Manor is everything you want in a semi-private course. If you can keep your eyes off some of the homes, you can actually play a very nice course! Everything is very well kept about the course. The greens have recovered from aerification. Make sure you play the correct tees because there are force carries that will come into play. Will be back in a week.

Don't pass this one up....

Anytime I get to ATL I make an effort to play The Manor. Not sure how the place stays open because it feels like I am the only one on the course when I have played. Facility, fairways, bunkers and greens are in great shape! Greens are fast even after a hard rain. Surroundings are LARGE and beautiful.

Fantastic Course!

This was my first time playing this course. Everything but the bunkers were in pristine condition. The greens were immaculate and rolled fast but true. The bunkers were a bit flat and hard in spots and found some rocks in them. The tee boxes and fairways were also in fantastic shape. Had a wonderful time playing here and most definitely recommend this course! Played July 1st.

Beautiful course in superb condition!

My wife and I scheduled a 12 noon tee time on Sunday. We were there early and the starter asked us if we wanted to go out early and follow another twosome. We ended up going out early.

We waited about 4 shots the entire round for a total of 5 minutes. The total round was 3 hrs and 50 minutes and we moved at a nice leisurely pace. The condition was excellent. I found the greens true and consistent. There were minimal rough spots on the greens. There are 4 different mens tees so many choices depending on your play level.

The carts had two bottles of water on ice and a guy in a cart came to use with ice cold towels 3X during the round. Great feature........

I would say the course is challenging and the difficulty is where the greens are surrounded by traps. The fairways slope pretty nicely in a funnel back into most fairways so shots on the edge often times kick back to the fairway.

Overall, I liked this course very much. Although pricier than other golf now courses, it was a treat over some of the other ones I have played.

You've Got To Play The Manor

I knew that the Manor was a higher end originally private club that had recently gone semi-private. I expected the condition to be really good but was not sure about the layout. Although I didn't like the inappropriately penal nature of a few of the holes when venturing slightly off the fairway, I found the layout very, very good. The condition of the tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and especially the greens, was magnificent and you will not find better anywhere. It is a very challenging course for sure so be ready to lower your expectations by 4 or 5 shots. If you play this course for any dollar amount south of $70 bucks, it's a steal.

The Marshall/starter was one of the nicest I've every seen. The inside staff was fine and very accomodating, one of the cart boys needs some training...my experience was really good overall!

Gem in Georgia

Beautiful layout, perfect greens and meticulously maintained. Open tee shots lead to scoring opportunities, but ever changing elevations for aporoach shots slick greens with plenty of subtleties demand every bit of your focus. Worth every penny at just about any price.

Well worth the money..

Undoubtedly one of the best courses you can play, layout protects most holes and the greens are incredibly true. When cut and rolled it seems none better can be found. Easily worth the price.

Top Notch

The Manor was a great course. Wet conditions, rained 2 inches night before and a drenching down pour while at the range, The course drained pretty good because we did not observe many wet lies. There was some wet drainage along some parts but considering the rain it was otherwise dry. Great course, friendly staff!! Awesome greens and fairways!!!!

enjoyable. good track. Tom Watson design with plenty of bunkers. Rains the night before had us cart path only which made things slow. White tees made 3/4 par 5's very accesible.
