The front nine was great!
It was a beautiful day when my wife and I teed offed, but then a cloud came overhead and brought his friends. We ended up with a 9 hole rain check. The course is really challenging, but beautiful.
100 dollar golf course for only 25 bucks
This course is challenging. Very challenging. But the views are awesome. Course is in top shape. I've played $100 courses that don't hold a candle to this place. And they have some of the best BBQ in the south at the half way hut. Will be going back soon.
Bummer
No one in the pro shop to check me in, could not find the 1st tee, no starter or ranger, very slow groups in front of me never offered to play through. Played 5 holes and quit. As for the course, nothing spectacular. Tee boxes were good, greens were decent, fairways a little burnt out
The course is beautiful with great scenery
We were very pleased with the friendly service and the ease of getting around the course. They really spent a lot of money on upkeep and concrete golf paths. The carts have the automatic brakes to handle all the hills. We had beautiful weather on the mountain even with a 60% chance of rain. We took a chance drove an hour and had a wonderful time. Definitely will be back!
Very challenging layout with hooles offering high degree of difficulty
I have played this course twice over the past two years and each timesomewhat felt the course a little too challenging for senior golfers with 15+ handicap. The course offers beautiful panoramic views. Fairways on several holes were very rough and roped off due to sodding. Greens were smooth, rolling true and fast. First time golfers at Canyon Ridge should be aware of several holes with extreme elevation change, hitting blind approach shots to green. Course hole locations could be marked better....very difficult to locate next holes at several locations.
Absolutely Amazing!
Wow, what a beautiful golf course.
Every hole was a challenge and enjoyed putting on the well conditioned greens.
I will definitely return and play again.
Very friendly staff.
Unique course
This was course number 694 on my quest for 1,000. Very unique, great staff, great addition to my collection
golf course views
if you are afraid of heights one par 5 could be a challenge but the elevation changes are spectacular
and the views are great. bring some unwanted golf balls and have fun,I did.the staff is great, really nice people beginning to end
thank you

Wow...wow...wow, an absolute gem!
You definitely get the feel of a resort course. Outstanding views, immaculate greens, and great layouts. The amount of stone used for cart path borders, paths, etc. was amazing. The is a hidden gem. I wish it were closer to Atlanta.
Beautiful Course
Beautiful and challenging. You should take a camera. Greens are perfect. They hold a shot and roll great.
The Prettiest Golf Course
This course, the staff, the atmosphere, the ambiance were unparalleled. We would drive the 9 hours again just to play here.
Canyon Ridge-SSSHHHHHH
Best golf experience in the Chattanooga-North Georgia area. Gorgeous course and layout, challenging with out being ridiculous, a couple of blind holes can be a bit frustrating so read your hole description guide. Very quiet and secluded, worth the drive . Staff is always courteous and welcoming.
phenom layout
hadn't played this course in seven years.......the layout is absolutely phenomenal.
however, they have lost a LOT of grass in the fairways...greens were great...still worth it via golfnow....
nice staff n pro shop.
Excellent course
Excellent course, the views are gorgeous, greens were in great shape, but fairways were pretty wet with all the rain we've had. Worth every penny. I will definitely will play again!
Beautiful
Epic views. Unique fairways. Carpet-like greens. Great secluded spot.
challenging course
This is the most beautiful course I have ever played. Staff is great and course is in great shape. It's around a 1 1/2 hour drive from where I live but we'll worth it!
Absolutely beautiful course
I played courses all over the US and this is one of the best scenic views I have ever seen. The course layout is fantastic! The only thing I can criticize was 3 holes the fairways were in bad shape due to the Bermuda grass not coming in yet fully and with all the rain. It was cart path only but I can say once those holes come in, this will be one of this best courses around. I will be going back soon!! The greens are Awesome!! With this course up on the mountain, the temperatures are great for this bent grass greens. I would highly recommend this course.
Outstanding!
As an active duty Army Soldier, I have played all over the world. This course is one of most beautiful courses I have ever played!
Greens were excellent. I had a heckuva time reading them, much less getting use to the speed. Rolled very well. Course was in overall very good shape.
We enjoyed this course immensely. Played the blues, probably should have played white. Very disappointed in time of play. The two of us played behind a fossil foursome, until, get this, one of them waved us through in the 18th fairway! Guess he was just being a little smart aleck.
Many elevation changes, tremendous scenery. When it got a little windy, it made things very difficult, because there are numerous holes where you have to carry trouble.
We'll go back, just won't tee off mid-morning.
Challenging Mountain Golf
The course is in great shape and is high class (concrete cart paths). I have played this course two years in a role and really enjoy the challenge. Greens roll good and fairways are in great shape. It was a little wet the day we played, and it was cart path only. You really have to pick your shots and keep it in play. Great experience, and a course that is worth playing. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because a couple of the holes are what I would call "adventureland golf". Other than that it was fun and challenging.
