Needs work.
Watering while playing most of the time. How come they can't put on a timer and water at night? Don't water while customers are playing.
Golf
Greens were solid. Only fixed 5 ball marks all day as compared to previous rounds where I fixed 3-5 per hole. Not the fastest but true. Fairways were pretty rough. Definitely they have cut back on the water. Teed off at 12;24 and was home by 4:00, 20 minutes to drive from the course back home. Would have rated 5 if it weren’t for the fairways.
It is what it is
Cheap course. Expect those conditions and everything should be fine! The course itself is fun and you can find yourself with some challenging shots. Greens are fine. Fairways are ok but usually dry. Most tee boxes need some work. Clubhouse is burned down.
No sense in going through golf now when I pay the same price as if I just called the course on the telephone. So I end up having to pay five dollars to golf now and don’t get any kind of discount. A bit frustrated with that.
Club Hiuse
The greens are in great shape. As we get closer to warmer weather I'm sure the fairways will green up. The driving range can use some work. The Clubhouse has been a eyesore since the fire. Don't know what the holdup is in getting it repaired but it's been more than two years and demolition hasn't even started. Most courses are having dine in and social opportunities and would be nice to stick around after a round of at Dryden.
Beginner Golfer
The course was in good condition, very challenging, greens were moderately fast. However there was plenty of dry areas throughout the course due to lack of irrigation.
update improvements
most notable thing is the improvement in the traps and greens. Greens are in excellent condition, fast, hard and true
Remodel still
I played this course for years and they still dont space out tee times enough unfortunately. Also dont have a clubhouse and nowhere to get food or drink. Course conditions were alright.
It is what it is
Greens in good shape. Everything else was mediocre, but for the price, who cares. Good course to practice shaping the ball, wide fairways and you can always find your ball the next fairways over.
Overall good Course
The course has really nice greens, staff are really friendly, only one group was in front of us and a solo behind so it was great Pace, overall good for What you pay for I payed $14.99 per person for $18 and $15 each for cart rental. Only complaints is there were no water stations like creekside so make sure to bring your own, also the ruff is really long and there is a lot of it so make sure to bring a bright ball that is easy to find.
