slow
Have played this course many times in the past , however never this slow . Several holes were a standstill while 2 or 3 foursomes waited to tee off .. should have called it and asked for a future credit. I will not do this again until its less busy.
Within three miles of home
Course is close to my home. It’s hot here now and there is always a breeze present which makes being on the course for several hours standable. Fairways are wide and it’s Florida where you always get extra yardage with the roll. Course is under new management, will have to see what changes.
Good Course
This is a decent course and was in pretty good condition. Fairways are open and water doesn’t come into play very often. Price is right off season and it’s very easy to play. I’d definitely play this course again or recommend it to friends.
No starter makes no sense
We were a foursome. They sent out two twosomes in front of us. We waited on nearly every hole on the front nine. Plus there was a single behind us. We said he could play through but he said the twosome in front of us only wanted to play together. Makes no sense.
Good value,
Greens much improved over last year. Crs overall in by condition
Decent Overall Conditions, Nice Greens, Friendly Staff
Checked in with very pleasant staffers Terri (inside) and Bill (carts & starter) as a single and was immediately sent out to join a twosome who were on the first tee. Finished round in just under four hours with no major holdups or slowdowns. Course was in "OK" condition with nice greens, somewhat spotty fairways and tee boxes, and good sand traps. Would play here again and recommend this course.
No value for money
When the course is almost empty in the afternoons, why not do the smart thing and have a 9 hole rate ? We saw almost no one when we played yesterday at 3 pm.
The course could make a lot of money by encouraging 9 holers to play with reasonable greens fees.
Of course if your object is to not make money, keep running the course in the same old way.
