The greens need work in a few places but overall the course is in good shape.

I loved the course. It is a very fun layout with lots of different elevation changes, carry's over water and creeks. The course is very pretty overall with some beautiful golf holes.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was my first time playing the course and the gentleman in the proshop gave me a course yardage book to help me out since it was my first time playing the course. Very Nice touch for them to do.
A few of the holes need some grass in the fairways. Several holes, I had a nice drive in the fairway and there was little to no grass (holes 14, 15, 17 in particular). The greens were in great shape. The bunkers left a little to be desired. It looked as if several of the bunkers had recently had sand added to them and many others look as though they need sand added to them.

I will definatly be back to play again. I loved the layout and how the course winds in and out of the terrain.

It was a great day for golf and I was looking forward to playing this course. The staff was very courteous and professional and based on what one could see from the clubhouse, the course was in excellent shape. As I took off on the front nine, I caught up to what appeared to be a tournament at the 3rd tee box. I labored along, slowly, behind them until the turn. At the turn, there were 7 golfers in front of me waiting to tee off. Had I waited, the pace of play would have been 3 hours for the front nine. I called into to pro shop for a raincheck, and the gentleman there apologized and gave me the rain check. Aside from the pace of play, all was well and I look forward to returning to the course. Hopefully they will institute some type of marshal to assist with pacing. Even when playing a tournament, it should not take "all day" to play a round of golf.

Great club house and friendly staff. Greens in just about excellent conditions but could be a little faster. Course was in great shape and I will definitely be back, possibly for a membership. Wanted to walk an additional 9 holes but the new guy at the counter(not the one that checked us in) tried to charge an additional fee. Green fees are usually good all day.

Great layout. Tough course. Greens were just punched about 3 weeks ago. They are a little hairy now but this was such a fun course to play. Great natural beauty especially on the back nine.

I've played this course many times. I went out today due to my home club being too crowded. I was excited to play because I've seen how nice this course can look when it's taken care of. All of the tee-boxes are practically dirt with dead grass. It's like hard-pan everywhere. There's broken tees all over the tee-boxes. Not one hole had a ball washer. The ground everywhere, I mean everywhere is rock hard. You hit the fairway, & it's like hitting off hardwood floors. I will say that there was a lot of roll with tee shots. So it did help with distance there. The greens look pretty good. When I missed a green and would be expecting a soft lie in the rough around the green, it was not. It was either dirt or dead grass on top of hard ground. There's rumor of the owners buying Heron Bay & Ga National. I'm fearful that the condition of those courses could worsen.

It's a shame because the course has good bones. I realize that it is early Spring and not everywhere is greened up yet. But I remember playing it last Summer with some friends who had played it before and they noticed the same discrepancies as I did. then Truthfully, the last time I remember the course in good shape was Summer 2015.

The course would be fine if those playing it observed basic etiquette. 4:40 to play 18 is way to long. Not till 12 did we find out it was because there was a group of 6 plus kids being allowed to play together. Also, apparently there needs to be a class on repairing your ball mark. There wasn't a single putt that I didn't have to repair someone's ball mark.

but never, ever give your e:mail address to them or whomever your book your tee times through.....the spam will come daily. I have "unsubscribed" over 20 times to no avail. I have called and asked them to remove my e:mail address from their system - completely ignored. It's a shame, because I like the course/layout, but I spend more time deleting e:mails than I do playing at the course.

First time playing at this course and had a great time. We played the day after Thanksficing and it was slow play due to the amount of golfers on the course. The course was is good condition considering the lack of rain, and it will test your play.

The course is in great conition,beside the bunkers and greens are not clean. Too many leaves and other items.

This is a challenging course that will test all of your golfing skills.

when you pay premium price you expect a above average golf course conditions. that not what the case here. i have played here many times in the past and this is the worst conditions i have seen. the greens were real bad and the fairways were thin and hard. will not play there again any time soon. there are other course in the area that are good and i will play there.

I really believe that they are working hard to improve this course but they still have a ways to go. I would rate the greens a 2.5 out of 5 and the fairways a 4/5. We briefly talked to the Marshall and apparently the problem is the heat and lack of rain. The greens are very spotty with many dead areas and the fairways are just a bit thin. The course is a great (tough) layout and at the hot deal rate we certainly felt like we got our moneys worth.

I played this course a couple times a few years ago. It was in magnificent condition. Now the course conditions are just awful. Not sure what happened but hope they can get it together. It's a great course when in great condition.

Most everything was in excellent shape. Would encourage players to fix their ball marks!!
