A decent layout
Living close allows me to play here often, but I only will play the course if I can get a cheap rate, the reason being all the fairways are overgrown with crab grass. The greens and T boxes are in decent shape and I like the course layout. The staff there has always been very helpful and pleasant, so that helps to make my decision to come back easy. They have an outside covered eating area which is a plus also.
One other negative is that they don't allow carts into the parking lot. The day I played 6/19/15 there was no cart girl and we basically had the course to ourselves, I have never experienced any lag in start time and the course has not been backed up since I have been going. Overall if you can get it for under $25 go for it, maybe you may enjoy it.
Greenfield golf outing 4/27
The course cart paths were good. The greens showed a lot of use and some were very sandy.
Staff was friendly, pace of play a little slow
Always in great shape
I play this course often and the course never disappoints. Greens are rolling great and even with the Bermuda summer grass coming in the fairways and rough are still in solid condition. Would love to see a little more friendliness from the pro shop attendee but the remainder of the staff is fantastic and make you feel right at home.
It's in rough shape
Not sure what happened to greens but yikes, tee boxes were lacking. This place needs water and lots of it. Great course but disappointing
Like the course layout. Some challenging holes. Have played it multiple times.
Best Course in Bradenton
This is by far the best course in Bradenton. Great value, price, and course condition. Even better staff!
Decent course condition with a great layout
I played a mid-afternoon tee time, so the pace was very slow. It ended up being a 5 hour round. But the course was in very good condition and the layout is somewhat challenging. There are a few holes where your tee shot or approach needs to carry water. The par-3's are all of good length from the blue tee. I would definitely play there again soon.
Didn’t have my tee time available
We booked a 7:00 tee time and when we arrived at the golf course we were told we would have to go behind 6 other groups because it was peak season. It was not light until 7:20 so we were looking at having to tee off an hour after our time booked. We didn’t have time to go that late in the morning, that’s why we booked a 7am… needless to say it was a waste of time and money since we didn’t even get to play!
