🤔 think before going
The course is in reasonably shape, the tee boxes need to be evened out, someone please explain too me why are they are this way? It's bad enough the fairways are full of cabbage and weeds.
Also why are the green speeds not all the same? That is so frustrating, trying to keep up with my putting speed.
I hadn't played this course in over 3yrs and I was reminded why, they never have someone speeding up pace of play.
Nice Course but Starter ruined it for us.
The course was over all in good condition. The tee boxes and greens could use some love but overall, good. I will start by saying the bartender was extremely nice and thoughtful. However, at the start of the round when we approached the starter and handed him our receipts, we were welcomed with “don’t hand that to me” and we initially brushed it off. Not the nicest guy but that’s fine. We went about the round in normal fashion and got to the turn ahead of time. While waiting on the 10th tee, the same gentleman rides up to use and asks “what’s the hold up?” As two people are standing in the fairway. He continues to be extremely aggressive and tells us that we need to “keep it going”. For whatever reason, 10 thru 12 was backed up and we were at the end of the back up. He tells us there’s no ranger and we need to keep pace. We finished the round in 3hrs53mins, even with waiting on a few tee boxes. Guest service goes a long way. We won’t be coming back.
Bad employee of the month
Pace was slow so we opted to skip a hole at 10. Mowers were mowing 11 and would not let us play thru so we went ahead to just off the green pitched on and putted ,
Played next hole12 a par three. No issues
Next hole 13 was a par four and we hit our drives and were in the process of hitting our approach shot and the "mowing guy" went out of his way to mow next to green and made us wait. then proceeded to go backdown the fairway to continue mowing. Not sure what his problem was but we named him Bad employee of the Month and will look elsewhere to play in the future.

Usually Really crowded in season but I love to play the course when the pace is right off season
Love the layout and conditions are always pretty good
Water, sand, nice greens and fairways!
Played 18 holes on a very windy afternoon so even a few easier holes far more challenging. Managed to stay away from water which is in play on many holes. Large sand bunkers and some difficult pin placements added to a fun day playing Links at Greenfield. Proshop, starter, restaurant folks were pleasant and friendly. Look forward to our next visit.
OK to get some swings in
Course was in rough shape - not sure i would play it again unless i needed to get out and just get some swings in
The carts were awesome, the cart girl was awesome, all staff was very friendly. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in pretty rough shape, could be due to lack or rain.
just ok
Greens were is fair condition some were rough with bare spots and bumpy, usually they are well kept but not on this visit. Pace of play seems to be always slow when I play here. The GPS on the cart is always shouting to return to the cart path despite being on it. After playing here numerous times over the past couple of years I am thinking it is time to move on to a different course. Lots of nature and wildlife here so that was a nice bonus
Enjoyable round
Starter paired me up with another single who was very enjoyable to play with. On the 2nd tee another single was waiting so we all joined up which improved our pace of play. Interesting layout with quite a bit of water and fairly generous fairways. Greens were in good shape and very fast. I would play again when in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.
For anyone else reading this please see other recent reviews for a better description of this course. Great conditions, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. Also great food! This reviewer leaves bad reviews for all courses constantly. Take it with a grain of salt.
