Wonderful day in Statham love the course love the greens can't blame anything on the course

The course is laid out well and allows for great scoring if you can avoid the rough. Thick enough to hurt your score. Greens help to compensate because they are almost too easy. Very little break.
Amenities are great. Must eat at the clubhouse.

Excellent time with my son, Senior at UGA. We felt like we were members of an exclusive club.

The course was in great shape. The only negative I'll mention is ball marks on bent grass greens. Players need to do a better job of repairing ball marks.

The course condition here is always fantastic. Greens are a bit slower than normal, but that’s to be expected in the middle of the summer. Rough was penalizing today after a bit of rain yesterday. Great staff and would always recommend the GA Club.

Great course but had a drunk foursome in front of us who kept dropping balls and hitting them. Need someone riding around monitoring that sort of thing.

After front 9 I got behind a five some. it was aweful! Even though I was a single and know I have no standing to pass through. They had no standing playing with 5 players. Pace of play was at extremely slow.. They had no intention of ever letting pass through.

Outstanding course. Greens are fast. I loved it!!! Can’t wait to go back

An amazing experience each time I go there... great Proshop Staff - great service from the cart team upon arrival- fantastic course conditions. I just love playing here and practice facilities are top notch. A must play..played a Single as the rest never showed up.. played in under 4 hours... Hard to find anything wrong with this place and willing to drive the 48 miles one way anytime I get this great deal to play it again and again.

I really like the layout and the conditions are great considering the time of year. The greens roll great, but don’t break very much. They also take the ball very good, making my terrible shots into the green look good. Great resort style with some challenging holes along the way. The staff is courteous and very professional. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but if you want to treat yourself in the Athens area, this is a great spot. The gps on the carts is very nice, and the beverage carts were very frequent. The only thing that I didn’t like and is the usual around Athens, is that the course was very busy, and everyone was nose to tail, and there were pushy golfers behind us, when we finished on 17, the gps showed it playing behind 5 minutes. I enjoy being outside and will never understand why people go to the golf course if they’re in a hurry.

One of the guys that I play with regularly, invited me to join him and his group at The Georgia Club this past weekend. It was quite a bit of a drive from Stone Mountain, and that doggoned Hwy 318 area is a total mess, but, in spite of that, I am glad that I went.

The staff at this place was head and shoulders above any that I have ever encountered in terms of professionalism, courtesy and kindness; from the front gate, to the cart barn, pro shop, restaurant, cart ladies; everything was top notch!

As for the course, it was in great shape and we have not even hit the heart of the season yet; kudos to the staff for the way the course looked at the tee boxes, fairways, and greens. Oh, and lest I forget; that was some of the finest sand that I have ever had the pleasure of playing out of....LOL.

The pace of our round was good; we waited on no one all day, nor did we hold anyone up; perfect.

It is a bit pricey for an average hacker like me, but, I have paid more for less many times before.

If you ever find yourself in the area, or, if you are looking for something different but really nice, by all means, consider The Georgia Club!

Great course and conditions are really starting to look good for early March. One of the best designs in the Atlanta area. If I lived a bit closer, I'd join this club.
