Deerfield Lakes Golf Course

Greens were in poor condition. Scorecard yardages are incorrect. It is a good layout and I enjoyed my round. The greens are in poor condition and I don't think the fairways will ever be lush. The only thing that is not easy about this course are the strategically placed water hazards.

The course is very flat and there are not maps to show where the hazards are. You need to play with someone familiar with the course for the first couple of times.

Great course for the money value. They were working on the greens but they were in great conditions and fast. Few tough holes but overall nice 18hole course. Can't wait to book my next tee time at Deerfield Lakes!

Greens were very rough and inconsistent. Other than that very open course with some fun holes.

If you look at the clubhouse, your first impulse is to turn around the car, but this would be a mistake. Most of the holes are simply straight with little water hazards, but all are very well maintained. If you're in search for a laid back round of golf for low rates, then you are right.

Course was in great shape. Played as a twosome and was finished in 2 1/2 hours. F9-48 / B9 -39 unfortunately did not figure out my swing until the back 9. Looking forward to playing again.

Challenging course with a variety of distances on par 3 and par 4 holes to keep it interesting. The greens and fairways looked in good condition.

All in all, the fairways are good and should get better as it greens up. The greens are very nice, and "quick".

I haven't played here in years but after reading reviews I decided to give it a another try. Overall, I am glad that I made the drive [about an hour] as the course was in good condition. The tee boxes, fairways & especially the greens were all in good shape. We played 2 days after a good amount of rain and there were some areas of standing water but that was to be expected. The only issue was off the fairways as there is barely any grass and you will be hitting off of dirt or sand. For the price we paid it was a solid deal.

Greens in very nice shape. Play moved well. Friendly folks. Worth the journey.

Nice clean course, with water in all the right places!

My wife and I enjoyed our day. Weather was nice and course was decent. Water and sand challenges, but both were reasonable and understanding due to our lack of skill!

Even though this course may be a bit of a drive for those from Jacksonville, the pace of play will save you time and money on a Saturday when we all need more time. I won't say that this course is in pristine shape, but someone is working very hard at keeping it in very good shape. The greens were quick but even. Fairways in good lcondition. Some of the rough was sparse with grass. I think the fact that they let groups of less than 4 go out keeps the pace of play quick. I played 18 holes (shot bogey) in right at 3 hours with people in front and back of us and never felt rushed. I'll play again!

Overall -- great round of golf for the buck. Some wet spots throughout the course as in sprinkler system may need repaired or replaced. Fairways good. Greens fast, true and in respectable shape. Tee-box ground extremely hard. Used more tees than normal. Time of play was very reasonable. One staff member and he was cordial. Again, for a good round of golf without the big city price, Deerfield Lakes is the place.

Greens virtually perfect - slick and cruising. Open off the tee. Great value.

Course was in great shape the greens in great shape ball rolled true. Mywife is just learning to play it was a good place to learn.IIt was challenung to me off the blue tees . Can't wait to play there again.

It is not a difficult course, but enjoyable. The tee boxes need to have the colors redone and the fairways are kind of hard but kept well. I would recommend to a moderate player.

best course in jax greens always perfect and staff is the best

From checking in to final hole the entire experience was enjoyable. The staff is very helpful & friendly, and the course itself is in great condition. The tee boxes and the greens are in excellent condition. A better placement of gold tees would help if the yardages were somewhat lengthen by about 300-400 yards. Current yardage from gold tees are a little short.

It would help if this course would repair some of their amenities on the holes, like the ball washers....also, the tboxes need to be graded so you have a flat surface to tee off..
