About
Lake Lawn Resort spans across two miles of shoreline along Delavan Lake. The resort was founded in 1878, making it one of Wisconsin's oldest leisure destinations. Its proximity to both Chicago and Milwaukee has made it very popular. The championship golf course was not added until 1921, but it is still one of the area's oldest. It has a traditional layout that was revamped in 1990 but the original character was carefully preserved. The course is known for the stately oaks that are abundant throughout the course. The mature trees frame the holes and demand accuracy as well as creative shot-making. There are also deep sand bunkers strategically placed along Lake Lawn Resort's greensides. The greens themselves are quite tricky and varied too. Some have subtle but tough undulations while others are multi-tiered.

Compared to othe courses in area a little pricy
Old course with old course layout. Greens are good but course is not overly challenging.

Elevation, lake views and fast greens. In good shape after recent rains.
Very good mix of holes.Par 3 and par 5
Challenge to a low handicap and very playable
for average golfers and juniors.
Had a special day with my son at Magestic
Oaks.Many great courses in the area,but
golf is hard enough and this course allows for
less experienced players to want to continue
playing the game without getting discouraged.
You can spank it around without emptying your
bag of golf balls.

Early Spring
PLAYING GOLF IN EARLY MARCH IN WISCONSIN IS UNUSUAL. COURSE WAS FINE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR.
New and improved
The 18 hole layout has been rearranged. Basically, you’re looking at most of the back nine holes as the front nine now, with just a few exceptions on each nine. Greens are in good condition, in spite of it being winter.
