Great value and excellent course layout

Great day golfing in Shannon. The fairways had been sanded and were slow but the greens were good and the course layout is really interesting and fun. Scenic views of the Shannon estuary

Beautiful day

Great days golf at Shannon, the course was undergoing maintenance on the day that we played, fairways heavily sanded, only reason for 3/5 mark.
Recommend, great value for money, have played before and normally in great condition!

Slow play

Took 2 and half hours to play the front nine as a two ball. Got caught behind a four ball of members who point blank had no interest in letting us through.

Very Nice Course

Course in immaculate condition, considering the rain in the previous few days and the downpours that morning. (1 or 2 bunkers aside)
Good mix of holes, nice subtle challenges that are missing from a lot of other courses. Greens are superb.
Will definitely play again.

Very Disappointed

I have played this course many times and previously enjoyed it

Last week 4 of us booked a time via Golf Now. When we arrived there was no sign of the booking but the gentleman in the pro shop sorted us out

The course was hugely disappointing. After Covid 19 restrictions eased we have played other courses all in super condition but not so here

The trees were a disgrace, limited space to work with and clearly not changed often enough and grass not cut to a reasonable level. The greens were also poor and the fairways were much too high.

Not worth the price charged and cannot see why it is a hot deal

Course should have been closed with the amount of rain and the amount of water that was on the course.

The greens looked like they were only after been aerated and the ball was impossible to putt.

I know from playing the course previously that it's a wonderful setting to play on a fine day but it's not enjoyable in the bad weather
