A little gem in west cork.

This was my second time playing this wonderful course. When a lot of other courses are closed Clon was open. Thinking it was going to be a plugged golf ball day it was quite the opposite. Arriving there there felt like being at my own club. We teed off fairways where in great condition and the green are slightly slow but just the way I prefer them. For the price of it is well worth the value for golf. Can’t wait to play again over the summer , so magnificent holes like the 1st, 3rd 4th , 8th and many more.

All in all a great club with great people and a great course design

Great Course - poor mapping

This course has loads of potential to be one of the best courses in Munster. However the GPS mapping of this course is not updated and currently the course only has 14 holes. There is plans to get it to a full 18 hole course, in the future.

Needs better signage

First time playing here, well sign posted from the main road but once you turn onto secondary road there is no sign for entrance. I drove past it.
There were no course maps on the score cards so my friend and I were hitting blind on most holes over crests. Signage to the next tees was poor and there was no explanation how to play full 18 on the 12 holes. We had to ask other golfers how it worked. Cable car out of service and lots of maintenance going on so it all seemed a bit sloppy. Some of the holes are beautiful but not sure we will be running back here.
