Letterkenny Golf Course
First class course, well maintained very friendly staff.
I'd highly recommend it.
Another enjoyable 18 at Letterkenny
This was our second time playing this course in the past two weeks, again we were very lucky with the weather, getting the full 18 in nice dry conditions. The course is definitely a good test of golf, the upper half of the course has a very different feel to the opening 10 holes and overall it makes for a nice varied round. Very friendly club to visit and I certainly will be returning again.

Fix tee boxes
Put up signage to next tees especially across roads...not one sign.
Yardage markers. 150....100
On EVERY hole.
Fix walkway from 18 to the clubhouse.
It's a muddy trail to your car...
Challenging but enjoyable
Played this course with an early tee time (6:50 a.m.). We were very lucky with the weather, in what was a very wet day we got a window of very pleasant weather for the vast majority of the round. A course of two halves, the front 9 is very flat and runs along the water, quite a challenging lay out and if you have a slice then you're in real trouble!
The 11th hole transitions you from the lower 9 to the upper part of the course, this has a different more mature feel to it and has a nice variety of holes.
Overall the course was in excellent condition, there were a few temporary tees as they were relaying some of the tees but this not not take away from the round. The greens are in excellent condition and I will definitely be making a return visit very soon.
Lovely
Didn’t know what to expect as I’m not from the area and hadn’t heard of the course prior to booking. But I was very impressed. The course has a. Lovely feel and was very nicely presented. The first few holes take full advantage of the estuary to create tee shots that frame the hole with the water backdrop. The fairways were nice and true and the greens were above par. Very tiny pro shop with hardly anything in it but nice place to grab a fairly price coffee afterwards. If you thinking of playing it don’t hesitate… go play and reward yourself. £45 is too much though
Enjoyable
Found this a tough course. Few areas were a bit boggy but it was early Feb and there's been a lot of rain. Good greens.
Great track - rough is a killer
All in all, it’s a 9/10. The course is a great track, lovely flow of holes. Danger everywhere on the front 9 with water and OB, but the greens are flawless, even when damp with early morning dew. Only criticism is the rough, is a bit intense, and I’m a 4hcp and consider myself handy, the rough is a killer. Even an inch or 2 off the first cut, and it’s 50/50 if you’ll find it. Other than that, I’ve played before and I will 100% to lay again. Great course, lovely people and we’ll worth it.
Whats not to like. Should have tried this course long ago.
Busy course and that is understandable. Fully enjoyed the delightful mix of holes and scenery . Course in excellent condition especially the greens. Cant praise highly enough.
