Solid place would play again. For sure could use some work but not insane for prime time in Florida

Very friendly staff!!

The course is challenging but we already have two more teetimes booked for time here in Florida. The greens, teeboxes and fairways are all in great shape. The bunkers have great sand. Certainly worth the money.

I have played Eagle Trace before, my visit this time was average but not worth the $130 I was charged based in the conditions of the course. Bunkers are poorly maintained, Im not sure that any of them had been groomed and its obvious that the members are not familiar with what the rakes are for near the traps - all member groups played in front of us and every bunker had footprints in them as our group played our 18.

It's a former TPC PGA course. It was really starting to get run down and latest management team have improved it. Still could use some more attention to detail to take it to the next level. But the course is still great...A lot of water on all holes. You got watch out for ponds and lakes that snake out. Houses are a bit close on some holes. BTW, you see some ridiculous size homes on back and in ridiculous spots begging to get pegged with errant tee shots! One hole there is a swimming pool that must get filled with balls. I play it once a year and will keep coming back. This visit it was in good quality shape with speedy but not too fast greens.

A fine layout but quite demanding. Most holes offer adequate landing area for drives. Greens are often slightly elevated and guarded by bunkers or water which require precision second shots. Likewise for par 3’s. Par 5’s as well except two well placed shots will only require a wedge or short iron.

Greens run true, are quite undulating and a sloppy pitch or hard hit putt from off the green ( Texas wedge) can run thru into a hazard.
Course generally well maintained but could use fresh updating i.e. tee markers.

This was my first time playing at Eagle Trace, must say the course was beautiful. It is a challenging course but it had a great time. The guys outside were friendly and good. After the front nine we stopped by the bar to get a drink. Unfortanuely there was no cart girl that day, which kind of suck. We dedicided to stopped at the bar for a quick drink. The bar was extremely busy and looked like there was only one person working the bar that day. Must say the lady working the bar she manage to assist us with our drinks and everyone else that was sitting there. We asked for her name and she said Maria. I want to say that she Maria was great, handling the bar by herself and giving amazing customer service.
Just our only complaint is the bar does not have apple pay.

From tee to green I was very happy with the conditions at Eagle Trace Golf course. Staff very friendly and the bar was well stocked with an equally friendly bartender. Overall very pleased with my experience. This course never disappoints

This is a great course. Every hole possesses a unique challenge and is still fair and playable. Choose your tees carefully. Plays long. Water comes into play on virtually every hole. The greens were perfect. Receptive and quick. I look forward to coming back.
