Rude and slow
Despite claiming to care about pace of play (to the point where they have a rule you cannot walk, even if you are waiting ten minutes per shot in a cart) there is no ranger. With five groups on one par 4 at a certain point, would there be ten if they allowed walking?
What a disapointment
Course had all the bones of greatness with a great history. Unfortunately it is not maintained and has fallen into disrepair. Unfriendly staff did nothing to help
Pace
No Marshall's, Pace is painful. ( Electric cart do died)
Muni
Good greens but everything else is run on bare minimum. The roof on the clubhouse says it all. Course living off old TPC affiliation. Not bad if you want to play old PGA stop.
you get what you pay for
Chose the course for location and course conditions. Conditions were very good, greens, fairways and rough. Biggest complaint: no complimentary water. Really? At the current price point for green fees, a water bottle or water dispenser, with cups, is not too much to ask.
Not worth the price
The green fees are overpriced based on the course conditions. The pace of play was over 4 1/2 hours and no marshal in sight. The course layout is good and challenging.
Good firm greens
Needs to be updated, need beverage cart and food service

Cool burrowing owls in some of the sand traps
Have played here a few times and my experience has been pretty consistent. An above average layout for a Florida golf course in good, but not great condition. The greens are kept in very good shape for a public course. The fairways and rough are inconsistent and the fairways are on the furry side. A few tee boxes are a bit sloped as well which can be a little frustrating. Facilities are good, driving range, practice green, restaurant all fine. It’s a shame this course isn’t kept in nicer shape considering it’s a pga tour quality layout, but then again it would cost a lot more than $100 to play if that was the case. Definitely not somewhere I’d play regularly for the price, but it’s a fun change of pace from the typical Florida course and the conditions are decent
